Sandy and Locket traversed through a desert in a jeep. Chaos was still in his sack, right next to Sandy in the back seat of the jeep.
"So, Locket," said Sandy, "What do you think the council needs from us? They don't call us to the stronghold every day. It's been two years."
Before Locket could answer, purple ooze shot out of the ground. Locket swerved away from it, looking behind him.
Sandy looked, too. "Locket, that isn't . . . Hold on a second, was that purple!?" Sandy cried out, as suddenly a loud THUMP sounded above them. Something had landed on the roof of the Jeep. Sandy let out a little scream. Locket turned his head around, staring at Sandy, and accidentally crashed into a boulder. The vehicle flipped over. Sandy let out another scream.
The car tumbled and rolled through the desert for a minute before it finally stopped. Sandy and Locket were surprisingly unharmed, except for a few scrapes and bruises.
Locket crawled out of the vehicle, Sandy following quickly behind.
"My - spleen!" Sandy exclaimed. "Wait, is that a vital organ? Uh, my ribcage! Wait . . . That's bones."
"The stronghold should only be five miles from here," said Locket. "Come on, Sandy. We are walking. Sandy nodded and grabbed Chaos, slowly following Locket across the desert at a slow and steady pace. They walked and walked; Sandy groaned and complained along the way, but they finally made it.
A small diamond statue resided next to a fountain, which shot out orange juice instead of water. Locket approached the fountain and got sprayed in orange juice. Sandy did the same, and they both walked back to the diamond statue and touched its hand together. Both of them disappeared in an orange aura.
They emerged in a chapel-like building, and an eldery bald man with an extremely long white beard approached them. "Locket, Sandy! You've made it. I have terrible news. We are all in grave danger!"
"Grave danger?" asked Sandy. "Uh, you mean danger that'll put us into graves? Oh, no, Locket! Piano, please explain."
The elderly man, Piano, nodded. "See . . . a great, evil presence has entered Earth's dimension, and I predict that in less than two days, Earth will be destroyed! Now, you can prevent this. You must gather Chaps and all of his friends."
Locket tilted his head. "Chaps?"
Piano nodded once again.
"Well, how are we going to get to this chaps fella?" Sandy asked.
Piano pulled a small journal out of his pocket. "This journal is magical. It's a Chaps-tracker, if you will. You can locate Chaps as long as the skeleton is being very wacky."
"So, it's basically a GPS?" asked Locket. "Alright, Piano, we got it. But, how are we going to get to him?"
Piano chuckled. "You can borrow my hot air balloon-airplane-helicopter hybrid, my boy."
Sandy's eyes lit up with joy, and she moved around giddily. "THE HOTBACOPAIR?!" she screamed out in joy, and Piano nodded yet again.
"Yes, Sandy, the Hotbacopair," Piano said, as he got sucked into the floor and vanished. A pair of keys laid on the floor where he had stood.
Locket walked up to the keys and picked them up. He looked back at Sandy with a smile. "Looks like we are going for a jo-"
Before Locket could finish, he was met with a punch to the face. He grumbled, looking at what hit him-a purple goo monster.
Sandy quickly pulled two daggers out of her pockets, ready to battle the goo monstrosity.
Two more of them appeared in the room, and Sandy started to get worried-but Locket was still as calm as ever, taking an Uzi out of his right pocket.
Locket blasted the creatures with lead, but it was not very effective. The gooey creatures charged at them, but without warning, a pink skeleton appeared in the room.
The skeleton sprayed the goo monsters with flames shot straight out her hands. The goo abominations burned away into nothing. Sandy watched in awe as Locket was trying to figure out how that was even possible.
"And, there we go!" the skeleton exclaimed. "Sandy, Locket, I am Chapalina! It's a pleasure to meet you both. But it's a bit of a doozy that we had to meet each other like this." Chapalina had a poorly drawn pink bow on her head, as well as drawn-on diamond earrings.
"You know, Sandy . . . I really wish you never mentioned skeletons before we entered that crypt," Locket said.
