(Jack's POV)
After spending less than five minutes in Arendelle, the other three and their pets hated it here. To be fair, it seemed to be a rather cold country since it was May and everything was covered in snow, the wind was howling and ice was spread over the ground.
For the others, the ice made them slip. For me, the ice made me have to catch them as they fell. Luckily, we hadn't landed far from the castle, but just outside of the walls surrounding it. And all the gates were shut closed.
Three of us has the means to climb the walls and the fourth could get help from us. But a dragon, a flying kid, and a girl with seventy feet of hair would most likely not be appreciated by the guards patrolling the wall.
"Did we just come to this country just to freeze to death out here?" Merrida asked and Hiccup rolled his eyes.
"I think I have an idea." he said and we all turned to him expectantly. While I wasn't bothered by the cold, I didn't want the job of explaining how three strange statues came out of nowhere. "If Toothless makes a show at the opposite side of the wall, the guards will be drawn away from here and he will buy us some time." he suggested and I smiled, Rapunzel didn't.
"What if he gets hurt?" she asked and I gave her a weird look. She did realize she was talking about a flame-throwing dragon, right?
"He is too fast to them, in fact, it took my tribe years to even catch sight of him." Hiccup told us as if he was a father showing up his kid's straight A's. "So, what do you say?" he asked the rest of us.
I looked to the girls, who both nodded slowly, before turning to him with a grin.
"It is the best shot we got." He nodded before whistling and his dragon flew away. Shouts of panic soon came from the opposite side of the palace and the guards near us ran towards the chaos. I quickly grabbed Hiccup and Merida, before flying up and landing on the inside of the wall. Rapunzel soon followed and together, the four of us snuck around the palace, looking for anything out of the ordinary.
"Is that how windows are supposed to look?" Rapunzel asked suddenly, gaze fixated on the building. We all turned to the spot she was looking at, to see a window that was almost more frost than glass.
"Definitely not, good job." I told her while looking at the window, which was several stories up. "It would be too noticeable if you climb up and it would take too long, so I'll have to fly us all up. I'll have to split you into two groups, so who here weighs the most?" I asked and they looked at each other.
"Probably Blondie, her hair weighs about half a Hiccup." Merida said and I nodded, turning to Rapunzel.
"I'll get them up, you wait here." she nodded and I quickly picked up the others. I flew them up to the window with ease, pushing it with my foot and using frost to loosen it up. It fell inwards and Hiccup caught it before it could hit the ground. I landed inside, letting go of the two and flying back down, repeating the process with Rapunzel, only without the window issue.
"Woah." Hiccup said as we all looked around the room, where all the walls were covered in frost. A clear path of ice trailed from the bed to the door on the ground, meaning that we were lucky enough to find the room empty.
"Quickly. Look for any trace of Pitch before someone notices that something is off." I told everyone and we spread up in the room. Merida and I went to either side of the bed while the other two took the opposite corners of the room.
"There is some sand here." Merida said almost instantly.
"Here too." Hiccup added and Rapunzel repeated the same words.
"I've got some too. Which means that either he spent a generous amount of time here, or he really tormented the girl-" I started, but stopped at the sound of the door creaking open.
Without hesitating, we all spun to face the new arrival. Me with my staff ready, Rapunzel with her frying pan, Merida with a hunting knife, and Hiccup with very non-threatening fists.
The young girl who entered seemed just as startled as we were, but she didn't run and none of us attacked since it was a little girl. Merida, who was the closest, grabbed the kid and pulled her inside, closing and locking the door behind her while the girl squeaked.
"Who are you?" I asked and she sent me a defiant look.
"Shouldn't that be my question?" she asked and I held back a smile.
"Answer us and we'll answer you." Rapunzel said and the girl turned to her, eyes flickering from her face, the pan, and the hair.
"I'm Anna of Arendelle. But you are not from here, you don't have the accent." the girl, Anna said and Rapunzel nodded.
"I'm Rapunzel, I'm from Corona." she introduced herself and the girl turned to the rest of us.
"Merida of Dunbroch."
"Hiccup of Berk."
"Jack Frost." I finished and she glanced between us, eyes narrowing at me, probably recognizing the name considering how she could see me.
"Good. Now, why are you in my home?"
Rapunzel's hair should weigh about 27-36kg, Hiccup should weigh like 61 kg, just a fun fact.
