11 Is she insane?

This forest seemed oddly familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. We tied down our horses and prepared our gear.

Levi divided us into groups of three. Me and Eren were with Levi, of course. It was so that he could keep an eye on us as he had cleared up.

I think I couldn't be with worse people. Even if Levi was little more tolerable now, he wouldn't be when killing titans and Eren. I was still suspicious that he would change into a titan and kill us all.

We all got into our designated positions and waited for Levi's order to start.

Finally, Levi waved his hand giving us the permission to start killing the titans that were scattered all around the forest.

My smile grew wide and my eyes started to sparkle. I was waiting for this for so long. The thrill was coming back accompanied by anger. My heart beat faster and I couldn't wait anymore. With a loud roar I jumped down from the branch straight onto the neck of a titan. Mercilessly I sliced the nape off and before in could collapse to the ground found my new target. Like a predator I was flying from one titan to another, not caring if other scouts wanted to kill that particular one.

*Levi POV*

As I watched the scouts having their way with the titans from one of the branches, I noticed Y/N.

She was hungrily jumping from one titan to another. She also killed some titans before the hands of other scouts who were preparing to kill their target.

Watching her moves more carefully, I realized that Y/N wasn't using much of the techniques I taught her. Her swings were completely random but somehow it always ended up in the titan's death.

The scouts were now more so getting out of her way to not get accidentally sliced by her. My brow started to twitch.

She could endanger the whole group with this careless behavior. Is she insane?

"HEY! Y/N!" I shouted but couldn't get her attention. I wanted to swing to her but like on cue, she started swinging herself away from the group and deeper into the woods. I specifically ordered everyone to be close together and not move solo.

Shit.

"Arlert! Keep the group together, I have to go get Y/N!" I shouted at Arlert because he was the closest and after seeing him nod, I jumped off the branch.

"Shit Y/N, I didn't mean you to be persistent that much." I gritted, the wind stinging my face of how fast I was moving.

I knew she could take care of pure titans with ease on her own but I didn't know if she knew what to do if she encountered an abnormal titan.

I saw a falling titan in the distance, that must be her work. I quickened my speed to get to her faster.

I saw her on a branch surrounded my three titans who were hungrily looking at her. She was changing her blades and didn't notice that one was reaching for her. I quickly got to her and sliced the titan's hand off.

"Are you completely moronic, farm girl?!" I shouted at her. She turned to me clearly taken aback by my presence.

She looked at the cut off hand that was laying on the ground and at the titan who was pitifully looking at it. I think she realized what happened.

"I've had it under control." Y/N dismissed nonchalantly and clipped her new blades in the holders.

"No, you clearly didn't have it under control. If I hadn't found you in time, you'd be down in that titan's mouth." I pointed with my blades under us.

"Whatever, now get out of my way. I need to kill some titans." She waved me off. Before she could jump off, I grabbed her arm.

"No, you're not." I gritted, my eyes were piercing hers.

She looked down at my hand tightly gripping onto her. She yanked her hand but my hand didn't leave her.

"Let go." She yanked once more.

"Y/N...go...back, that's an order." I growled. I was losing my patience. She could get into serious danger if she continued this alone.

"Can't we at least kill these last ones? We are already here." Her tone changed. It was more of a whiny one.

I broke her. I smiled to myself.

But she was right we were here and it would be safer to get rid of all the titans anyway.

"Okay but don't get in my way. I saw how you stole titans from the other scouts. You'll get that one and I'll kill these two." Y/N watched my pointing blade. She looked little disappointed that she got just one titan to kill but I'd be quicker than her anyway.

*Y/N POV*

After killing those titans, we regrouped with the rest of the scouts.

The sun was already setting and it would be dangerous to travel back to the camp at night. So to Levi's annoyance we would sleep at whatever shelter we would find.

We were riding our horses by the edge of the forest and it looked more and more familiar.

Oh my god. Is that?

"Captain, I know this forest!" I said excited.

"And what about it?"

"My old house is near here, we could sleep at my house." I smiled. It'd be a tight squeeze with everyone in the house but we'd be dry and we were secured for blankets and other stuff.

"Okay, then lead the way, we'll follow." Levi motioned the scouts to follow my lead.

When we got to my house it was completely dark. I was kind of happy about that because we rode past my parents' graves and I didn't want to have to explain that.

Everyone settled in the house and I started fire in the fireplace to keep us warm.

Quickly one after another started falling into deep sleep. I had to take care of the fire so I stayed awake. Levi went out to survey our surrounding for any lost titans.
