The true love story

Chapter three

I was on my way to the party. when my dad calls me. i pick up the phone.

"Hey daddy." i said happily

"Hey honey, how's college life treating you?" asked my dad

"a pain already, we're on our way to meet up with some people we met." i said

"Do you have your-"

"Pepper spray? check." i said then giggled

"Do you have your-"

"Cell phone? how else would  be talking to you dad." i said then laughed again

"Well sorry if i'm worried about my daughter getting drunk." said my dad

"Dad i'm not gonna drink, i don't like alchol." i said

"How do you know if you never tried it?" asked my dad getting suspicous

'Um, i actually gotta go dad.' i said

"Okay, don't drink, don't drive, don't get in the car with anyone and-"

"Don't forget to put on your seat belt, i was raised by the best, don't worry dad, love you." i said then giggled

'Love you too honey, have fun, but not too much fun." said my dad then chuckled

"DAD, okay, bye." i said

"Bye." said my dad then i hung up.

i turned off my phone and put it back in my pocket. we were in Nikki's car, which was a silver black Dodge charger, which was beautiful by the way. we were listening to radio music and singing along. we were having a blast which was awesome, since after today, was gonna be a pain to have to deal with college work. Nikki lived in Kentucky, and was one of the wild awesome, everyone likes her girls, which was so true because i barely knew her and I thought she was awesome. we were almot to this party, and i was a little nervous. we were in the middle of no where and it was dark,"Um, is this the part where you take out the chain saw and hack us to peices?" i asked then both Abby and Nikki giggle in unison,"No." said Nikki her voice was inturpted by loud car noises,"Where is this party exactly?" i asked. Nikki didn't answer me, but she did slightly giggle as we near the top of the cliff. as we drove up the cliff the sound of engines got louder. we got to the top, and saw twety beautiful racing cars. then i realized,"This is a drag race, isn't it." i said smiling,"Is that okay?' asked Nikki,"Yeah, it's awesome." i said really excitedly. i was really excited. there were so beautiful. there were tons of really dressed girls and boys, which made me look rediculous. we parked the car and went into the crowd of race car drivers and fans. my hands were in my pockets. everytime i was a little uncomfortable or felt as if i didn't belong, i would do this.

We finally got to the middle of the crcle, where al, the cars were parked. the beauty of the cars, awed me. i looked around and saw that every car had a different personality. one car had flames on the side, and the driver had a mohok with flames dyed on his hair. then one guy had a polar bear on the hood, and the guy was wearing a fluffy big fur jacket. then there was the emo guy with a plane black mustang. i was inturputed by my thoughts, when Nikki pulls me out of the way of almost getting ran over,"Whatch out girl, you almost got hit." said Nikki helping me balance myself,"Who the hell was that?" i asked angrily. i turn my head to see a white zenvo st1. it was glorious. i waited to see who the hell drove it, so i could just yell at him. as the car parked near the middle of the circle, i could see the car door slowly open. i cros my arms, still enraged at thi guy, who does he think he is?

he slowly revealed himself. He was tall, skinny, yet bulky, his brunnett curls drove me cray he way it was all messy he was wearing a black t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and a balck leathered jacket, and some black and white converse. he took off his black leathered jacket and put it in the pasenger seat. he closed the door , turned to the hood of his car and sat on the side. All of these tall pretty girls started to surround him and i started to put my hands even deeper into my pockets. I felt really self concious around girls who were showing their cleavege. If a guy like that wants a girl like that, fine, but i won't be like that to get the guy i like. But i was still curious about who he was. I turn to Nikki who was giggling about something,"Who's that?" I asked inocently,"Oh, you got your eye on the bad boy." Said Nikki making me giggle, which was weird, because i don't giggle,"That's Jayden Mc'conner, he's a total bad ass, he's been here a while, but he doesn't really open up to people about himself, he's kind of the loner bad boy types, he says that he's twenty-five and he goes to a school around here... but that boy doesn't look like he studies." Said Nikki,"Is he seeing anyone?" I asked. They both look at me,"I'm just curious." I said throwing my hands through the air,"Okay, okay, he's not seeing anyone specificly." Said Nikki,"What do you mean?" I asked,"He's sorta a player." Said Nikki,"Well, thanks for the warning." I said then sighed,"Hey, i'm gonna race this one guy, then we can hang." Said Nikki,"You race?" I asked,"Yeah,  i race." Said nikki then runs off to her dodge and brings it to the starting line, where the another guy parked there waiting for Nikki. He was blonde, blue eyed, and wasn't that bad looking

"Hey pretty face, wanna give up now?" Asked the blonde guy who was going against Nikki,"Awe, poor Garrett wants the girl to give up, so he doesn't have to lose to a girl." Said Nikki making everyone go wild in the crowd,"Let's race beautiful and see how badly i beat you." Said Garrett making everyone go even more wild. A tall blonde girl goes in the middle of the two cars, and waves a flag through the air,"Start you engines!" She shouted. Nikki and Garrett make their engines go crazy loud over the screaming crowd,"Three." Said the tall blonde,"Two." Nikki and Garrett makes one last noise with their emgines,"One!" Shouted the blondey then they race. Garrett was a head. The crowd was shouting loudly,"Come on Nikki!" Shouted Abby. Nikki all of a sudden goes a head of Garrett and wins! We shouted and waited for Nikki to turn back around and drive back to us. She drives her dodge near us and parks right next to Abby and me. She gets out of the car and waits. Garrett soon comes and parks in front of her. He gets out of his car and walks towards Nikki,"Well, i guess looks can be deseaving, wanna go out sometime?" Asked Garrett,"We'll see." Said Nikki then walks away from him. I laugh and look around me and notice that Jayden (the bad boy who almost ran over Jessica.) Was staring at me with his beautiful green eyes. It was as if he was staring deep into his eyes. It was kind of sexy. But also kind of making me feel a little uncomfortbale. Nikki, Abby, and i stayed by Nikki's car and just hung out. But Jayden and i were still in the middle of our stare down. it felt as if he was looking deep into my soul. Nikki nudged me in my shoulder, looked at Jayden, then back at me,"Just let me introduce you two, you guys obviously wanna meet each other." Said Nikki grabbing me by rists and dragging me to Jayden who was shooing away the girls that were begging for his attention. He walks up to me. On of his hands in his pocket, and the other running his fingers through his hair. Man did he look so hot, but he's also bad news,"Hey Jayden, i wanna introduce my friend that you were staring down." Said Nikki pointing at me. I slightly nudge her in the shoulder,"hi." I said looking at Nikki,"You know i'd love it if you look at me when you're introducing yourself." Said Jayden making me laugh,"Okay, um... Hi, i'm Jessica Daniels." I said,"I'm Jayden Mc'conner, and you have beautiful blue eyes." Said Jayden making me laugh,"So i'll let you two be." Said Nikki walking away. After she left, Jayden just looked at me,"So, what's a pretty girl like you doing out here at a drag race?" Asked Jayden,"Well... i met Nikki at Stanford, where i'm going now, starting on monday, and we met in the dorm rooms." I said,"Nice, so you're a freshman." Said Jayden,"yeah, is that okay?" I asked,"Yeah, it's cool, you're cool." Said Jayden,"So, that's a beautiful car you got there." I said smiling,"you wanna go for a ride?" Asked Jayden,"I barely even know you." I said. Jayden gets close to my face, making our noses touch, and whispers in my ear,"Then let's get to know each other." Chills ran through my spine i smile and text Abby that i'm going to get a ride back home, and that i'll see her there.

I followed Jayden to his car, where we drove through the streets so fast, that i thought that my face had been blown off. He drove me to the beach where we hung out and talked. We were on the hood looking up at the stars,"So, are you gonna tell me your story?" I asked,"um... i don't know if you wanna hear it." Said Jayden,"Maybe i do, and maybe i'll listen." I said. Jayden smiles,"Um, well, my mom died when i was born, and my dad was abusive, so i moved out by the time i was sixteen." Said Jayden then got off the hood of the car,"So is that enough?" Asked Jayden acting rudely,"No, i mean, i just wanna be your friend." I said getting off of the hood of his car. He turns around facing me. His brunnett curls flowing through the wind, just looked too beautiful. He came closer towards me and wraped his arms around my waist,"What if...I don't wanna be friends." Said Jayden,"What if...I wanna be your everything?" Asked Jayden looking deep into my eyes. I look up at him smiling,"well...i'd say, give me your number, and let's talk more." I said wraping my arms around the back of his neck,"What if i said i wanna kiss you right now at this moment?" Asked Jayden,"Jayden-" i was inturpted by Jayden kissing me. He picks me up and twirls me around in the air. I pull away,"I'm sorry, i just can't." I said then ran off. Jayden ran after me,"Jess, where are you gonna go? I'm your ride." Said Jayden but i ran faster. I ran far enough to get to a cab, and get home. I got to my dorm room and found Abby there fast a sleep. I got dressed and went to bed. I couldn't believe that just happened. I didn't wanna have a chance to get my heart broken. I didn't wanna get hurt, not anymore. I just wished i didn't kiss Jayden, but i felt something with Jayden, that i didn't feel with anyone i've ever felt with anyone i've ever met. I fell fast asleep and tried to forget about Jayden, but i just can't forget about that kiss, it was...something i couldn't forget about. i couldn't sleep at all. I can't believe i'm falling for a bad guy!
