I never in a million years thought that i'd be going to the college of my dreams, but it's happening. I'm going to be attending stanford university in california! Which is gonna be really awesome! Hi, i'm Jessica Daniels, and today's graduation day, and i'm really happy and sad. I've spent half of my life in this school and i've had so many amazing memories here with my bestie, abby, who's also going to Stanford. So at least we get to make some college memories there. I was getting ready for my last day at school. I put on some black skinny jeans, white long sleeve shirt, some black flats, and left my hair down. I applied mascara. I admit it. I looked hot. I looked in the mirror one last time and smiled,"Stanford University, here i come." I whispered and walked back to my room and grabbed my phone and bag.

I went downstairs to see my dad cooking. Which was unusual, i mostly did all the cooking in this house. I set my things down on the kitchen table, and slowly walk towards my dad,"Hey little one, want some pancakes?" Asked my dad. I pincg his cheek,"Ouch." Said my dad not taking his hand off of the spachala that was holding a pancake that was ready to be flipped,"Sorry, it's just...you don't cook." I said softly,"Well, you're moving out of Georgia and all the way to California, so this is gonna be our last breakfast together." Said My dad then flips the pancake. I hug my dad,"I know." I said muffling into his back. It was silent for a moment. All we heard was the sizzling of the pancake baking. My dad turns around and faces me. He hugs me even tighter,"Your mother would be so proud of you." He muffled into his shoulder,"Thanks." I said my voice muffling into his shoulder,"I miss her so much." I said,"I know, i do too." Said my dad.

My mom died when i was just twelve years-old. She was in a car accident. I really miss her always there to comfort me during scary thunder storms, when she'd sing me a song. I really wished she would be here for my graduation, but she wasn't.

My dad and i release each other from our embrace and sit at the table and eat breakfast. It was about seven thirty. I got my yhings and walked to the door. Before i even turned the nozzle, i turn around and yell,"See ya later dad." I said,"By honey, have a nice day." Said my dad. I slightly smiled and walked out the door to my red camaro. The best part about being an only child, is your parent spolis you with gifts on your birthday. Thanks dad! I went into my camaro, turned on the radio, and party in the U.S.A came on, which was one of me and Abby's songs. I started to sing along to it as i started my car. I back out of my drive way and head to Abby's house to pick her up.

Abby lived in a nice street where everyone knew everyone's name. Abby lived with her mom, dad, three sisters, and five brothers. I honk the horn about three times, and no answer. I took out my phone and texted her.

Hey, i'm waiting out here, where are you?

I texted

i turned off my phone and set it down next to me and waited for Abby, who was taking forever. i laid my head back, when i heard a buzz coming from my phone. i looked gazed t my phone and sighed. i sat up from my comfortable angell, reached over, and grabbed my phone.

sorry i'm taking so long, my mom was just upset about me moving all the way to California and i just had to calm her down, i'll be out in a bit.

texted Abby

i sighed, turned oof my phone, set it next to me, and laid my head back where it was before i was rudely interupted by Abby. after a few for seconds of waiting, Abby came running out of her house. her outfit was really cute. a short, white dress, some black high heels, some light make up, and her hairt was down and curled,"Wait a sec." said Abby turning around,"Hell no, Abby we gotta get to school." i said a little iritated,"Just wait a sec, it won't take long." said Abby,"Fine." i sighed. Abby turns back around, her back facing me,"PEOPLE OF GEORGIA! JESSICA DANIELS AND ABBY RINK, me, ARE GOING TO BE ATTENDING STANFORD UNIVERSITY!" shouted Abby. i started dieing of laughter. Abby was one of those bad ass friends, who'd always do something amazing and funny and... BADASS! Abby turns back around and smiles,"Okay, now let's get to school." i said then we both smile,"Okay, let's go." said Abby jumping into my car, then we head to mc donalds for our usual coffees that we get every morning before school. we get our coffees then finally head to school.
