*fifteen weks pregnant*

well i've been pregnant for a while. today i was going to find out the gender of the baby. and i was going insane! i was praying that it was a boy, but i would also love a baby girl. someone to play dress up with and do their nails with. it would be pretty awesome. Jay had to go to work today early so i had to go all by myself. i wanted to invite Abby, but she was busy with Matt so i didn't wanna ask. I felt sort of abandoned though because abyy's been a little busy with work, school, and Matt. Alex hasn't talked to me since the cook out, which really hurt my feelings, but i don't care. If he was really my friend, he would unserstand. And Jay has been going to work early right now for these past few weeks. Which was really starting to worry me.

I was currently in the shower getting ready for my appointment. After i took a shower i got out and put on the clothes that i picked out earlier. Some blue jean shorts, a yellow long sleeve that was really flowy and big. Which was good. I didn't really feel like wearing tight shirts since i've been pregnant. And some black and white converse. I put my hair in a pony tail. As i'm tieing my shoes i hear three nocks on the door. I was a little scared. I grabbed the baseball bat and slowly walked towards the front door.

"Who is it?" I yelled

"It's your old man." Said my dad softly

I froze. I was really scared of what was gonna happen. I set the bat down and walked towards the door. I slowly open it revealing my dad in a blue plad shirt, some blue jeans, and some old running shoes. He looked as he normally did as always. his face looked sad. his eyes were a light shade darker and he wasn't quite smiling and he wasn't really sad either. he just looked normal. I looked deep into my dad's sad eyes,"Dad?" i asked softly trying not to cry,"Hey Jess-a-bear." said my dad making me break down in tears. he pulls me into a hug making me cry even more. i really missed my dad and it broke my heart that we hadn't talked in so long. my dad held me tighter in his arms which made me cry even more.We both walked inside still hugging each other. my dad closes the door behind us. i started to breath heavily.

"I'm sorry i let you down, i let you down." i said sobbing into his shoulder,"Jess-a--bear you could never let me down, i just can't believe you're pregnant." said my dad looking down at my stomach then meets my eyes that were red and puffy from all the crying i've been doing,"Jess..." said my dad looking deep into my eyes,"I promised that i wouldn't grow up too fast, and now i'm gonna be a mother, and i'm almost nineteen." i said looking into his eyes that were starting to tear up as well,"Oh honey, you had no idea this would happen, you didn't let me down, it's the circle of life honey." said my dad looking at me,"I'm so sorry dad." i said hugging him,"You're gonna be fine honey, everything's gonna be fine." said my dad hugging me tighter.

after a few more minutes of hugging. my dad and i went and sat on the couch. it was quiet for a few minutes,"You taking care of yourself?" asked my dad. i nod,"How's Jayden? as in does he know?" asked my dad making me slightly smile,"Yeah." i said softly,"And?" asked my dad,"He's thrilled." i said smiling, which also made him smile,"Good, he should be, you two are gonna have a beautiful baby...um...what is it exactly?" asked my dad making me giggle,"I'm actually gonna go find out the gender in a few minutes, you can come if you want." i said making him smile,"Of course i wanna come." said my dad hugging me,"Why aren't you mad?" i asked my voice muffling into his shoulder. he pulls away and looks into my eyes.
