Chapter thirty-five

*Two days later*

well this past two days my dad and I have been hanging out and having a great time, but my dad says that he has to go back to work today so I have a full day to just hang out around the house and just relax.

I was currently in the kitchen and just got done baking eggs, bacon and toast for my dad and I. My dad finished his food and belched out a big and loud burp.

"Dad." I groaned in irritation

"Sorry Jess-a-bear, but a man's gotta burp, when he has to burp." said my dad chuckling as he got up and put his finished plate in the sink," Yeah, yeah, yeah whatever, I've heard it all before." I said making him laugh even more," So whatcha going to do today?" asked my dad," I don't know, maybe I'll go out today...maybe I'll get some ice cream and go to the sight seeing out at the hill." I said excitedly," Sounds like fun." said my dad grabbing his keys and kissing me on my head," Have fun Jess." said my dad as he walked out," Thanks, you too, but not too much fun." I said making him chuckle as he walked out.

I got up and looked around the empty house. I walk over to the vacuum and turn it on. I then started to vacuum the whole house which took a bit of time. I then went over to the dishes and washed them. after I put them away, I walked up stairs and to my room. I got into my room and changed into some cool and comfortable clothes. Some black jean shirts, a plain white t-shirt and some sky blue sandals. it was around warm weather at this time and it was a great time to put on some nice clothing. I then finished it all off with a blue jean jacket and braided my hair.

After I got done getting dressed, I grabbed my cell phone and went downstairs and grabbed a bottled water. I made sure that I got everything I needed and went on my way outside. I looked in the garage and saw the one thing that I missed most from Georgia. my red Camaro. I smiled at the sight of my Camaro and slowly walked towards my car. I slowly open the door and sink into the leathered seat. I put my hands on the steering wheel and looked into the mirror and looked at myself. then out of no where a flash back came throw my mind.

it was an image of me laying on the ground at the car accident bleeding and crying. Nikki was trying to keep my concision but I couldn't stay. I let go and looked around. the car was in flames, Nikki was now passed out and the three men were trying to get help. it was a gruesome vision. I began to repeatedly blink my eyelids and looked around me.

my vision went away and I was now in the car, my hands were still on the steering wheel and I was sweating and breathing heavily. I sighed aloud and let go of the steering wheel. I looked around and decided not to drive today. I just don't think I'm ready to get in a car yet. I took a deep breath and walked out of the car and walked to town.

our town was pretty small and everyone knew everyone. so I knew everyone as I passed the street. I looked around and saw the beautiful playground that I came to love when I was just a child and in my teen years. I don't know what happened to the old me. I was always so normal and calm, just like any ordinary girl you'd see on the street, but somehow I had changed these few months. and I didn't like who I became. I just didn't want to see this side of me. I didn't like this side. I just wanted it to disappear. I walk to the bench and sit down. I put my hands in my face and close my eyes.

I can't say that I don't love Jay anymore. yes he was a complete psycho and yes he did try to rap me, but he was still my first love, and my first time. He was the first one I've ever trusted...no Jessica don't you dare let him back in, he's going to hurt you, he's a killer. he killed Lizzie for no good reason. even if she caused us to lose our baby, I didn't want her to die. I would never wish that upon another soul. A tear streams down my face and falls into the puddle that was just inches from my toes.
