The next day when I woke up there was a note lying on my counter, and the flowers from Ponk were missing.

Had to head back home
to get ready, be back an
hour before the party
to pick you up.
See you soon.

-Sam

I yawned after putting the letter down and got ready for the morning.

When I was done I looked at the time and realized it was 9:30 a.m.

I went back into my room and grabbed my dress/suit laying it down on my counter.

I went outside taking in the fresh air, sometimes, the world can be beautiful when it wants to be.

I walked down the prime path not paying attention running into a man with a beanie and a scar going over his eye.

I apologized looking up at the man, he wasn't as tall as Sam or Tommy, but still taller than me.

He looked down at me and smirked, "hello, my name is Quackity, I run Las Nevadas."

I looked at him confused, "never heard of it."

He cocked his head sideways, "really? Oh well, it is brand new after all."

He put out his hand for me to shake and I took it.

He had a firm grip and let go after a few seconds.

He put his hand over his eyes, "I can't believe I forgot to ask what your name was."

He took his hand off his eyes putting it back to his side and looked at me.

It took me a second to realize he wanted my name, "oh sorry! My name is y/n, I'm a friend of Tommy's."

It looked like gears were turning in his head before a light bulb flicked on.

"Oh ya! Tommy told me a little about you-"

It was kind of funny how Tommy liked talking about me.

"He also said you were close with the warden, I'd say you're lucky."

"What do you mean 'lucky'?" I asked.

He chuckled, "he's a very powerful man, and when he gets pissed off, you hope you're on his good side."

I looked at him confused before he let out a laugh, "forget what I said, it was nice meeting you, I hope to see you soon Mamacita."

Mamacita?

And without another word, he pulled out a pearl and teleported away.

As I walked down the path I felt as if there were eyes on me.

No matter what turn I made or where I went someone was watching me.

It creeped me out, to say the least.

I was probably just being paranoid and brushed off the thought as the day continued.
