{Chapter:17}

Sam pov

y/u/n was blown up by a creeper

I rushed as fast as I could when I saw the chat message, I pulled out my trident jumping in a puddle flying through the air.

I landed in a river and swam out heading over to where the explosion was heard.

When I made it a shell-shocked Tommy was sitting on his knees staring at the crater in the ground while Karl and Sapnap tried to comfort the young blond.

I walked over bringing Karl and Sapnap's attention to me, "what happened," I made it sound more of a demand than a question.

Sapnap took a step back from me, his face full of fear, "w-well..." Sapnap drifted off not able to finish the sentence.

I was pissed off and I guess they could tell which was why they looked so scared.

I brought Tommy off of the ground standing straight forcing him to look at me, "what. Happened."

Tears threatened to fall from his eyes, his voice cracked as he spoke, "y/n... she lost her first life."

I stared at him as the words repeated in my head.

Part of me wanted to blow up every part of this damn place to smithereens, yet, my human side wanted to comfort the young boy.

I pulled him into a hug when a certain phrase made its way back into my memory.

"You can't protect her forever."

Tommy was taken aback by the gesture but returned it by wrapping his arms around me.

I felt my shoulder get wet as the tears fell from Tommy's face.

He let out soft sobs as I tried to calm him down rubbing circles on his back while glaring at the other two men.

"Someone needs to explain to me what happened," I said.

Tommy calmed himself down and looked up at me, "it's my fault if I just told her... she pushed me out of the way..."

I sighed as he pulled out of the hug using one of his hands to wipe away the tears.

Karl took a step forward standing in front of Tommy.

"Sam, Tommy came in took y/n and a creeper happened to appear and it blew up killing y/n," he explained.

I nodded understanding what happened when it hit me.

"Guys," I said catching their attention, "we need to find y/n."

We all started running towards her house, Sapnap behind everyone since he didn't know where she lived.

When her house came into view I slammed open the door running towards y/n's room.

When I opened the door, she was sleeping on top of the covers of her bed.

She didn't have any sign of injuries, she was just asleep.

We all sighed in relief shutting the door heading towards the sofa.

Tommy sat between me and Karl while Sapnap was on the other end, "so," Sapnap said, "who's gonna tell Puffy and Niki?"

We all stayed quiet knowing if either of them found out, they would not hesitate to shoot the messenger.

We all let out a laugh at how 3 grown men and a 17-year-old are scared to death of two people.

"Someone should probably head back and grab y/n's stuff," Karl pointed out.
