Sam pov

I rub my forehead and when I open my eyes I realize that I didn't fall on the floor.

I look down and see y/n under me.

I quickly get up off of her checking to see if I hurt her at all.

"I'm so sorry y/n, are you okay? I didn't hurt you did I?"

"She shook her head, "I'm fine Sam it's okay, but what were you guys doing?" She asked.

I glared at Sapnap walking past y/n snatching my gas mask away from him.

"I was just getting my mask back."

I turned back towards her and she stared right into my eyes, she turned away and mumbled something under her breath.

I was about to ask her something when Karl spoke up, "did we wake you up, y/n?"

She shrugged, "I was kinda already waking up anyways but I got out of bed when I heard things breaking."

I slide my mask back on and turn around to Sapnap, "I could have you arrested for stealing you know " I said in a low voice.

He scoffed, "it was just a joke."

I glared at him before relaxing, I felt a hand on my arm and when I looked down I saw y/n.

"What are you doing here Sam?"

"Oh I-I was j-just checking to make sure you were okay," I said stuttering my words.

She nodded chuckling, "alright, thank you Sam, Karl, are we able to continue studying?"

"Of course! Whenever you're ready," he said enthusiastically.

"You seem a lot more excited than she does, Karl," Sapnap pointed out.

Karl chuckled, "well, I've never really met anyone interested in this kind of stuff before."

Karl then walked over to y/n grabbing her hand about lead her to another room when I stopped them.

I turned y/n around and wrapped my arms around her, her doing the same thing.

"Can I talk to Karl real quick?" I asked.

She nodded, "sure."

She left the hug and Karl lead her to another room telling her to wait here for a second.

When he shut the door he walked over to me, "so you don't want me to tell her do you?" He asked.

"Listen, I'm doing this for Tommy, not me, but-"

"Sam if I don't she'll die," Karl snapped.

My eyes went wide, "what do you mean?"

He sighed pinching the bridge of his nose, "if I tell you anymore everything will be ruined but you have to trust me on this."

I was hesitant but nodded in agreement as he left the room.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and met eyes with Sapnap, "Hey man, everything going to be fine," he said reassuringly.

I sighed, "I don't know, Tommy always told me he didn't want her to find out about the past, his past specifically," I explained.

he nodded sliding his hand back down to his side, "well, she was going to find out eventually, but I understand, you were trying to help out Tommy."
