~Pearson's POV. January 7th, 2021~
Sam had stuck her head in the door of my office, "Hey." She smiled.

"What's up?" I asked, "So... Matt got an email and he thinks it might be something." She told me.

"An email is something, Sam." I laughed, "Matt thinks it might be related to Syphus." She sighed.

"Okay, okay. Let's go." I shut off my computer then followed Sam downstairs, Matt and Woods were standing outside of the equipment room.

"What is going on guys, I got a really interesting email that I thought that might be something but it might not be. I might just delete this footage but I got a really curious email like an hour ago so I thought I'd grab the camera." Matt spoke to the camera.

"I wanted to get your opinion on this email I got, but this one's a little bit stranger." Matt continued then we walked into Mega Desk.

We all git situated as Matt pulls up the email, "Alright so check this out, John Doe." Matt said as he glanced up at the large screen above him to make sure it was working.

"I mean Jane Doe is like the stereotypical alias." Sam stated, Matt began searching up John Doe.

"Look, "John Doe" and "Jane Doe" are multiple-use names that are used when the true name of a person is unknown or is intentionally being concealed." Matt reads.
"That's... unsettling." Sam sighed as Matt returned to the email.

"Hello. There hasn't been any other way to contact you so I hope this makes it through, this isn't secure so we need to be careful." Matt began to read.

"Wait, what email was this sent to? Is this your personal email or is it one that the public has access to?" Sam asked, "It was sent to my personal email which is not a public email," Matt responded.

"Honestly, that's my first inclination that this is something a little more serious because all of the emails that I get like this are from my contact email for instagram business stuff." Sam told Matt.

"Well, that was only the first line." Matt told us then faced his screen again.

"We need to talk, I've been following along on your videos for a while now and everything is setting off old alarm bells for me. I have some information that might help you in your investigation. Before we start, check if you still have the 843 American flag key, we were tracking the origins of that one for months. That will prove my authenticity, respond ASAP." Matt read.

"Okay, that made me really nervous." Sam stated.

"This part spooked me: "Make sure you have the 843 American flag key, that should prove my authenticity." Matt said.

"I actually have the chills right now because I'm the one who's logged it all and been going through the box of keys, I'm the only one who has the list." Sam stated.

"Can we go and look to verify? I want to see it and hold it in my hands." Matt stood up so we went up to Sam's office.

Woods and Matt sat on Sam's couch as Sam searched through one of her drawers to find the key.

"It's an American flag key, it's so distinctive. There's no way someone could guess that." Sam states, "How would someone know that it's a key that exists in the box." Woods questioned as he grabbed Sam's blanket.

"I don't know but we're missing a huge chunk of the backstory to these keys." I crossed my arms as I leaned against the door frame.

"There's just no way that someone could know unless they know about all the keys," Sam insisted, "That's what I'm really curious about, things aren't adding up for me. How does this person know unless this is Syphus?" Matt questioned.
