~Pearson's POV. August 9th, 2022~
~Red Base, 11:37am~Meeting, After meeting, After meeting. I had finally finished with the last meeting of the day, "Finally, we're done." I stood up and stretched.
"By the way, how's your forehead feeling?" I grabbed my bag off the floor, "It still hurts." Matt groaned as he held his head.
"I still can't believe you hit your head off the table!" Sam laughed.
"It's not funny!" Matt whined, everyone began laughing as we made our way downstairs.
"So what are we doing? I have nothing to do." Woods bounced around like a kid fueled on sugar, "Well... since we're still finding things from old Syntec days, I'm gonna look into something Deb asked me to do." I replied.
"Can I come with you?" Woods ran his fingers through his hair, "Sure." I grinned before messing up Woods' hair.
"Hey!" he shouted, "Well then stop playing with your hair so much! I bet Matt wouldn't mind shaving your head again if it's a problem." I joked, which received some chuckles.
"Okay, enough playing around, I still have some stuff to work on so let's go." Matt waved as we began walking to Blue Base.
"Does anyone have their keys?" Matt turned to us, "Where's your keys?" Sam asked as she put her hands on her hips.
"I forgot them at home..." Matt muttered, I rolled my eyes as I got my keys from my pocket and held my fob to the reader. The door unlocked so I opened it and held it open for everyone to enter.
Everyone went their separate directions as Sam, Woods and I went upstairs, but Sam went to her office.
Unlocking my office and turning on the lights, Woods collapsed onto my couch and let out a groan upon impact. "You comfy or what dude?" I laughed as I threw a pillow at him, "Yup! I like being in your office!" Woods shuffled around to get comfortable.
I sat down at my desk and pulled out a computer similar to the one we found from the LAPD case, I entered the computer password then opened a program. Words appeared in green, asking for another password... Just like the Apple ii.
I tapped my fingers against my desk as I tried to recall any passwords I could remember. After trying a bunch of different passwords that came to mind, the program put me on a cool down.
"Come on!" I groaned in frustration as I leaned back in my chair, "What's the issue?" Woods asked as he stood up and glanced over my shoulder.
"I need a password to get into a program but I don't know it, any ideas?" Woods thought for a moment.
"How about Syphus' password?" Woods suggested, "but this isn't his account, It says AM117." I folded my arms as I glanced at Woods, "I mean, there's no harm in trying, right?" He shrugged.
I sat forward and entered the password, to our surprise, it worked. "What the heck?!" Woods and I slightly shouted.
"We need to gather everyone. You go get Matt and Bailey, I'll go get Sam." We left my office and Woods ran downstairs as I walked over to Sam's office.
I knocked on the door, a faint "Come in!" was heard from the other side of the door. So I opened the door and gave Sam a grin, "You're not going to believe me about what I'm about to tell you." I told her.
"Tell me what?" She questioned as she sat forward at her desk.
"So today I brought a computer similar to the one we found in the LAPD case, but this one I've had for a few years. Woods and I were met by an interface similar to the Apple ii, there was already a username but it was asking for a password, Woods made the suggestion to use Syphus' password and it worked." I explained,
