~Pearson's POV. July 1st, 2021~

Matt, Woods and I were sitting in the HQ while waiting for Sam. Matt was laying down on the couch while Woods and I were leaning against the table.

"I honestly feel like it's right in front of us." Matt sighed, Sam walked in with the camera on her shoulder. "Hey Matt." Sam smiled.

"What our goal is here, is to get one step ahead. I'm tired of being behind and I'm getting impatient because I feel like we've been at this for a while and..." Matt sat up from the couch, "We don't have much."

"Woods, can I see that email?" I requested, "Uh, yeah here." He handed me his phone.

I looked at the email address and it felt like something was different, I pulled out my phone and found the picture of one of the other email's on Spellbound plus.

"The email is different." I said, "What? How?" Sam asked.

I turned on the screen on the table and I showed them the difference, "So my assumption is that this fake email is the phantom. It was a little bit aggressive, it was intentionally trying to fool us." Matt brought up.

"So then, let's say for a second that this is the phantom that's been beating us. What if we use this as leverage." I told them, "How so?" Sam questioned, "What if we used the fact that he doesn't know that we know." I said.

"What would this accomplish though?" Woods asked, "This would accomplish us to turn the tables, we want to get the other hand. I'm tired of being behind and I'm tired of him terrorizing my team, am I alone on this?" Matt told us.

"No. I mean, I think we need the upper hand, absolutely." Woods nodded.

"I understand, I think we should try to be strategic about this and stay on goal of trying to figure out how this would give us an advantage." Sam stated, "Well, it would give us an advantage, in the sense that if we take him out of the equation then that gives us the advantage." Matt said.

"Well, what's the plan then?" Woods pondered, "Giving him a little bit of a taste of his own medicine, are you game for that? I feel like you two of all people would be game for that" Matt asked.

"I'm absolutely game!" I nodded, "Same. He's just gonna get further and further because we're not playing by the rules that he's playing by." Woods agreed.

"What if we took the email and we baited him. We email him back and we agree to give the next coordinates, but it wasn't actually the next coords, it's a location that we predetermined so that we can set him up to turn the tables." Matt said.

"Let's write an email with false coords, we'll stake out that location then we release the location and we wait, when he comes we can plant the tracking device that was on the mountaineer." I planned.

"Yeah, so we can follow him wherever he's going before he actually does anything. We'll know where he is and if this works well, we might be able to follow him back to wherever he's staying." Matt nodded.

"Let's do it, let's write the email." Sam said.

After a few minutes of typing up the email and coming up with the location, Woods spoke up.

"So what if we make something to stall for time like the last serum? We have concrete here so I can make something to distract him for a bit." Woods stated, "how long will that take?" Matt asked.

"Maybe about half an hour." Woods states, "Okay, yeah. We'll check in with you." I nodded.

After half an hour, we all walked into the Red Base warehouse, Woods was standing over his workbench with a mess laid in front of him.
