Project 863: The fifth Subject

Great... Another one.

~Pearson POV. April 14, 2022~

Matt and I pull into the studio parking lot and walk into Blue Base, "You're late!" Sam and Bailey shout as we walk in, "sorry, I've been busy filming for them." Matt says then points to the camera. We finish up our quick Scrum meeting then Matt enters Mega Desk, "I'm ready to bring back something Mega, it might be Mega desk. Let me know what we should make Mega because..." Matt begins to say to his camera, "I feel the need for Mega." Matt says in his Overkill voice. "Weirdo." I say and laugh, "Oh, by the way. I hit up the cleaning crew and I sent them the clip. They told me that the person doesn't work for them, the jumpsuit was different." Matt states, "so someone infiltrated the cleaning crew to steal the Absalate." I say. "I heard you say something about Mega Desk." Sam states as she stands in the doorway, "Yeah, I want to bring back Mega Desk." Matt says, "fantastic." Sam says. "I need something Mega, there's not enough Mega things in my life!" Matt shouts, "I love that for you." Sam says, "Isn't there a meeting we're supposed to go to?" I question. "Right!" Matt says then we walk over to Red Base, "I got coffee!" Lauren states then we all grab out drinks as Woods walks in, "Why'd you move the Mountaineer?" Woods asks.

"What? We didn't move the Mountaineer." I state, "then someone moved the Mountaineer. It's parked in that same spot." Woods says, "why?" Matt questions. "I don't know, that's why I'm asking you." Woods says, "Sam! Sam!" Matt shouts as we walk upstairs, "what?" Sam says as we walk into the conference room. "Did you move the Mountaineer?" I ask as I place my stuff down, "No." Sam says, "Lies!" Woods says. "What? You're joking." Sam says, "No, it's moved. In the spot where we found it the first time." Woods states. "We can go look, but first we need to get to this meeting." Matt says as we all sit down and log into our computers, "Have you met Tanner's mom?" Bailey asks Matt, "Why are you asking that? Did you log in as Tanner's mom?" Matt questions. "Yes, I did. It's a core bit of this studio, it has to carry on!" Sam says and Matt laughs then Tanner kicks out Sam from the zoom call, "Tanner just said no to his mom!" Matt shouts and we all laugh.

~Time skip, after meeting~

"Hopefully it's still there." Woods says as we go downstairs, "why would someone steal the Mountaineer?" Matt questions, "It's literally junk." I state. "Let me switch to my vlog camera because this one is making me look evil." Matt says so we walk over to Blue Base, we walk in then Matt walks into his office to grab his vlog camera, he walks out of his office then we walk out from the back of Blue Base. "Did you move it?" Sam asks as we begin walking towards the Mountaineer, "No Sam!" Woods shouts, "I'm genuinely confused." Matt states. "This is a weird prank." Woods says, "Wait, that a... What?" Matt says confused, "That's another Mountaineer." Sam and I say. "No way." Woods says, "you fully destroyed the Mountaineer, the windshield of this car isn't smashed." I state, "None of it looks broken." Matt says. "Wait. Should we actually approach this car?" Sam questions, "I mean, it looks brand new." Matt says, "Why is it in the EXACT same spot?" Woods questions. "Sam, can you get up there and look?" Matt asks, "You're going to make me climb this wall again? This is deja vu, I don't like this." Sam says, "Why does she have such a hard time with this?" Matt questions. "Look, Sam isn't able to climb a wall. She's not athletic." Sam says as she climbs onto the wall, "That was actually better than your first try." Woods states then jumps onto the wall to help Sam off of the ground.

"Like this is brand new!" Sam states, "hold on." Matt says then passes the camera to me, I point the camera at Matt as he jumps onto the ledge. I effortlessly jump onto the ledge then Sam lets out an annoyed groan, "It's got the same keypad and everything." Matt says so I zoom in on the keypad, "Someone's been in it, there's a drink and some snacks in there." Woods points out so I aim the camera inside of the car. I look up to see a bunch of Vultures, "That's not a good sign, a cluster of Vultures." Matt states, "should we go get the camera rig?" Woods asks, "Yeah." I say so Matt and I jump down then I turn back to Sam. "Wait, Sam. Be careful!" Matt states as I pass him back his camera, "Sam, just sit on the ledge. I'll carry you to Blue Base." I say so as she carefully sits down on the ledge then climbs onto my back, "I honestly think this is some elaborate prank." Sam states as Woods jumps down then we walk back to Blue Base. "Are you having fun Sam?" I ask, "Yeah! We should do this more often." She states as we walk into the base, I carry Sam to the camera room then gently place her onto the ground.
