Chapter 6: Wise Words

NORMAL POV

"Thanks guys. It means alot that you called." Liz says into the phone as she, Kevin, and Frankie. "Okay bye." She says before hanging up.

"Did Nick give you the inspirational pre-audition pep talk?" Frankie says as Liz nods.

"He sure did and Joe was there with him so I got two pep talks." Liz says as her brothers chuckle.

"Well the only pep talk you'll get from me is a knock them dead Liz." Frankie says as Liz smiles at him.

"Aw Frankie you care." Liz says giving him a big hug as Frankie pushes her off.

"Okay well Liz if you get this role it would mean the world to me because this will show that I'm a great manager but no pressure." Kevin says as Liz nods.

"Way to sell it Kevin." Frankie says as Liz chuckles.

"Kevin just know I'll do everything possible to make you proud." Liz says as Kevin smiles at her.

"Liz we're ready for you." A person coming out of the audition room says as Liz nods.

"Well wish me luck." Liz says as her brothers smile at her.

MOMENTS LATER......

Liz comes into the house and immediately runs into the arms of her mom burying her face away.

"Liz, honey what's wrong?" Denise says as she looks over at Kevin and Frankie for answers only for them to shrug their shoulders. "Liz it's okay if you didn't get the role, there are other roles out there." She adds as everyone begins laughing.

"I did get the part but that was just a joke we decided to do." Liz says as she pulls away from the hug.

"You guys are mean." Denise says as everyone erupts in laughter. "And by the way congratulations!" She says giving Liz a hug.

"What's going on in here?" Paul says as he joins the group.

"Dad, I got the part!" Liz says as her dad becomes excited.

"See I knew you could do it." Her dad says as they embrace each other in a hug.

"What are you guys talking about?" Joe says coming into the house as Frankie groans.

"Oh my god for the billionth time, she got the part." Frankie says as Liz laughs.

"In the beginning this wasn't a role I really wanted but now that I got it and everything I'm super excited to start production." Liz says as her family continues to smile at her.

"Continuing the legacy. You know since we had our own summer movie musical." Joe says as Liz nods.

"And now I get my own. This is great. Plus I'm spending 2 months in Puerto Rico." Liz says as her mom becomes excited.

"I call dibs on going with her!" Denise says causing everyone to laugh.

"Anyways the reason I came was because I need some help with moving into my new apartment. Would you guys mind coming?" Joe says as everyone nods.

"Sure and when we're done we could even go out and celebrate Liz's new role." Paul says as everyone agrees.

LIZ'S POV

"Hey Joe why do you have a box saying high school memories? You didn't go to high school." I say as I set the box on the ground.

"Well I consider my days on Disney Channel my high school day." Joe says as I nod.

"Mind if I take a look?" I ask as he shakes his head. Opening the box I see that it's full of stuff that we kept as memories.

"Aw it's full of stuff from when we were filming Camp Rock! Look a pinecone." I say as I take the pinecone out show him.

"And a scrapbook." Joe says taking out the glittery book. "I was a bad idea to make you and the other girls make this." He adds as I laugh.

"The box is filled with glitter." I say going through the box.

"Soon you'll be able to make your own scrapbook." Joe says as he flips through the pages.

"I think it's a right of passage for each Jonas to make a summer movie musical." I say as he chuckles.

"That reminds me there is some things I need to go over." Joe says I look at him confused.

"You mean like rules? Joe don't worry about that mom and dad already went over all the rules." I say to him as he shakes his head.

"No it's not rules it's actually more of advice for you." Joe says as I look at him confused again. "You're going to have a costar and knowing these movies you're going to start having feelings towards this person." He adds as I shake my head.

"You're talking about Demi aren't you?" I ask as he nods. "Oh my god Joe! What happened between you two isn't going to happen with me." I say to him as he sighs.

"I hope it doesn't but either way if it does or doesn't happen everyone will start making up rumors and things might be difficult." Joe says as I sigh. 

"Okay I understand what you're saying but don't worry about me I can handle it." I say to him as he nods.

"Alright but just know I'm here when the going gets tough." He says as I shake my head.

First Alyson and Briana and now my own brother. People are crazy to think that I'm going to have a boyfriend soon. Joe's crazy to think that I'm going to find love doing a movie. Most of the time I'll be hard at work. Just because I'm a teenage girl doesn't mean I need a boyfriend soon.
