Chapter 27: Drama Unfolds

NORMAL POV

"Liz!" Briana says as she comes running from the bathroom. "You would not believe what I just heard in the bathroom." She adds as Liz looks at her disgusted.

"Briana I'm eating this isn't exactly a perfect time to tell me that." Liz says as Briana shakes her head.

"No it's nothing disgusting. Dani and Demi were talking about the real reason behind this dinner and you need to hear this." Briana says as Liz looks at her confused.

"They told us the real reason. They just wanted to get to know everyone." Liz says as Briana shakes her head.

"Well that's not what I heard them talking about in the bathroom. They were saying that they think you and Garrett aka Ross are a thing instead of Ross aka Garrett so they organized this dinner to find out the deets." Briana says as Liz becomes confused.

"Yeah everything you just said right now did not make the least bit of sense." Liz says taking a bite from her food.

"Which is why you need to tell the girls the truth. They're not your brothers so it should at least be a little easier." Briana suggests as Liz sighs.

"Fine I guess you're right. I'll tell them." Liz says as she stands up and sees the girls coming out from the restroom.

"Dani, Demi, is it okay if we talk for a bit?" Liz asks them as they look at each other and nod.

"Of course. You know you can trust us." Demi says as Liz takes a deep breath but before she can say anything they hear loud chatter coming from the hallway and Liz's three older brothers come into the room.

"Liz, I think we might have a problem." Briana says rushing to Liz's side.

"Liz, all the lying is over. You really thought you can keep this from us." Joe says furious as Liz looks over to her best friend for help.

"Joe nows not the right time or place to talk about this." Dani says as Joe looks over at the girls sitting at the table not far from them.

"You're right let's go." Joe says grabbing Liz's arm and the rest of her family and close friends following behind.

"Joe would you just calm down for a moment?" Liz says once they reach the outside of the restaurant.

"You want me to calm down? After all the lying, after me finding out that you disobeyed the one rule I gave you." Joe says as Liz shakes her head.

"Rules? I'm not a little girl anymore so I don't need to go by any rules." Liz says as Joe scoffs.

"Well apparently you are a little girl because you're going around lying like nobody's business." Joe says as Liz yells in frustration.

"I only lied to you because I knew you were going to be like this." Liz says as Joe shakes his head.

"I'm only like this because I never expected you to do something like this to me!" Joe says as Liz sighs.

"Do what? Date my costar? Joe last time I remembered you did and are doing the same thing." Liz says as Joe sighs.

"With Demi and I it's different." Joe says as Liz shakes her head.

"You say it's different but it's really not." Liz says before walking away and Briana and Ross following close behind.

"Frankie, don't think you're free from this. You lied with her." Joe says as Frankie shakes his head.

"You want to know why I did that? I did it because for the first time Liz had feelings for someone. She tried to shut those feelings away so you wouldn't be mad at her but you know as well as she does that you can't do that. I know you don't approve of this but be supportive like any brother would for his sister." Frankie says before walking away and trying to catch up to the others.
