Chapter 20: A New Feeling

NORMAL POV

Entering the hotel dining hotel Ross let's out yawn since he didn't get much sleep last night but it was all worth it. He spent the entire night with Liz and sure it wasn't in a romantic setting, since he was helping her with school work, but it was all worth it

"Ross!" He hears as he turns and sees John walking up to him. "Hey man we didn't see you last night at the beach." He adds as Ross nods.

"Yeah I was busy with something important, sorry." Ross responds as John shakes his head.

"Nah it's okay man. Anyways we're all going to the basketball court and play a game before we have to go on set. Want to join?" John asks him as he yawns again.

"I'm going to get breakfast and then I'll try to join." Ross says as John nods.

"Alright see you later." John says before walking out.

Ross then walks over to the buffet and grabs a plate but soon feels someone tap his shoulder. He turns and sees Liz standing there with a big smile.

"Hey you seem much happier." Ross says to her as she laughs and nods.

"I am and it's all thanks to you. I finished taking my test and I felt so confident." Liz says to him as Ross nods.

"See I knew you had it in you." Ross says as he and Liz give each other a high five.

"I can't thank you enough for helping me study." Liz says as Ross smiles at her.

"I know a way you can thank me." Ross says as he reaches over and grabs an empty clean plate. "Have breakfast with me." He says as Liz nods and grabs the plate.

"Don't mind if I do." Liz says as she and Ross begin filling up their plates.

"So when do you find out your test scores?" Ross asks Liz as they sit next to each other, eating their breakfast.

"Well I took the test at 7 in the morning and it usually takes 2 hours so I should get it any minute now. I'm so nervous." Liz says as Ross nods.

"You shouldn't be I'm sure you did great." Ross says as Liz sighs.

"By the way I really sorry for yelling at you yesterday when you were only asking if I was okay." Liz says Ross shakes his head.

"You don't need to apologize. Now that I know what was going on I completely understand." Ross says as Liz nods.

"Something like that has never happened to me so I was freaking out but I'm lucky to have you." Liz says as they hear Liz's phone ring.

"Is it the test results?" Ross asks as Liz gasps and nods. "Well what does it say?" He asks as Liz looks at her phone.

"I passed. Oh my god! I passed!" Liz says excitedly as she and Ross stand up and hug each other.

"See I knew you had it in you." Ross says as Liz smiles at him.

"I'm so happy! Thank you so much! I love you!" Liz says hugging Ross again but as soon as Liz says 'I love you' they pull away from the hug and exchange a look. Getting caught in the moment they find each other leaning into a kiss.

"Liz! You need to come with me!" Liz hears Frankie say as he grabs her arm and pulls her away.

"Frankie, what was all that about?" Liz says to her brother as he leads her to the hotel lobby.

"You know when mom told if I wanted to be included in her plan I never thought it would come this far. I'm really sorry Liz but hey at least this bad situation has a positive side to it." Frankie says as Liz looks at him confused.
