Chapter 15: To Puerto Rico We Go

LIZ'S POV

"But how are you? How's touring going?" I ask Austin through the phone as I organize my purse.

"It's really great. Sightseeing is difficult to do but I manage to enjoy the 20 minutes I have." Austin says as I nod.

"Yeah that's always the difficult part. Just try to taste the food everywhere you go that's the best part." I say as I hear him laugh.

"Speaking of which everything in Puerto Rico is ten times better. The smoothies they have are to die for." He says as I chuckle.

"Well I'll be sure to try them." I say as I hear a knock on the door.

"Liz hurry and take your bags to the car. Your father's putting them in the trunk." My mom says coming into the room as I nod.

"I have to go but good luck in the rest of the tour and come home soon cause Briana and Alyson are driving me crazy." I say as he laughs.

"I'll try. Good luck in Puerto Rico and good luck with your dreamy co-star." He says as I become confused.

"Alright...wait, what!?" I say into the phone as I stop what I'm doing.

"The girls told me everything. Bye!" He says quickly as I shake my head.

"Wait a minute, Austin!" I say but I soon hear the call go silent. "I think I need new friends." I say before grabbing my stuff and going downstairs and to the driveway.

"There she is. Liz I think we have some space for your stuff." My dad says as he helps me with my bags.

"I guess I'm the only one who knows how to pack lightly." I say making my dad laugh.

"Your mom and Frankie are just really excited. We haven't been on vacation in a while." My dad says as I nod.

"That's true and that makes perfect sense." I say as he chuckles.

"How do you two live with yourselves. I felt so guilty that I couldn't sleep." I hear a familiar voice say as I see Demi, Alyson and Briana walk up the driveway.

"Oh that's why I became such a pro in applying eye makeup so I wouldn't look like a zombie." Briana says as I become confused.

"You guys recruited Demi in your antics?" I say making them jump and scream.

"Liz, hey you didn't hear all of that did you?" Alyson asks as I look at each of them.

"I did. Why? Was I not suppose to?" I ask as they sigh.

"We've been hiding a something from you and it's making us feel very guilty." Briana says as I become shocked.

"For how long?" I ask them as they exchange looks.

"Since yesterday when you were in the studio recording." Demi reveals as I shake my head.

"There were rumors about you and Ross. They were all over the Internet and were gone after a few hours because Ross shut them down." Alyson says as I sigh.

"That's why there was so many paparazzi waiting outside." I say as they nod and Briana hands me her phone. "Wow. Now I understand why you guys hid this from me." I say as I finish reading what Ross wrote.

"You're not mad?" Briana asks as I shake my head.

"Of course not. You were just looking out for me. I would've liked for you to tell me sooner but thanks anyways." I say as they nod.

"Alright everyone let's get going!" I hear my dad say as he and my mom hop into the car.

"I'll see you later." I say giving them each a hug.

"Have fun and remember Liz we're all one phone call away if you need someone to talk to." Briana says as they rest of them nod.

"I'll remember that. Bye." I say waving at them before get in the car.

NORMAL POV

"Okay obviously something's wrong. You haven't touched your food." Frankie asks Liz as they sit across from each other at the airport diner.

"I'm just not hungry." Liz responds making Frankie give her a confused look.

"I don't believe that. C'mon Liz you can tell me anything I'm not like Kevin, Nick and Joe who freak out when you want to have a girl talk." Frankie says making Liz laugh.

"Fine you have a girl talk here it goes, I've been talking to a guy." Liz reveals making Frankie slightly choke on his food. "You said you weren't going to freak out." She asks as Frankie shakes his head.

"I'm not freaking out I was just eating too fast but what were you saying? Something about a guy?" Frankie says as Liz nods.

"This guy, well everything was going great but then once people were labeling us as a couple he freaked out." Liz says as Frankie nods.

"Did he freak out because of the labeling or because of something else?" Frankie asks as Liz shrugs her shoulders.

"Well they did say he was only with me because he was only interested in the whole fame thing so maybe that's why he freaked out." Liz says as Frankie sighs.

"Sadly that's always going to be rumor that follows us. People said that about my female friends from school." Frankie says as Liz nods.

"What are we suppose to do about it then?" Liz asks as Frankie shrugs his shoulders.

"Make sure the people that are around us know that." Frankie responds as Liz sighs knowing that she couldn't gather the courage to talk to Ross.

MEANWHILE......

"She's not going to want to talk to me. I don't even want to look at myself in the mirror because I'm so ashamed." Ross says to his brothers as they walk through the airport.

"I'm really sorry Ross but according to the label and our management we had to do that." Riker says as Ross sighs.

"Besides Ross it wasn't you who said those words." Rocky says as Ross nods.

"That's true but she doesn't know that. She won't want to talk to me so she'll probably never know." Ross says as his brothers nod.

"I don't know what to say since I've never been in this situation so the best advice I could give you is you're going to have make her hear you out. Best case scenario she'll want to talk to you." Riker says as Ross nods.

"You're right I shouldn't think so negative." Ross says as they reach the airline gate.

"Nows your time. She's right there." Rocky says as Ross sees Liz stop to take a picture for a fan.

"You're very welcome. Have a safe flight." Liz says to her fan before they walk away.

Liz then looks up and sees Ross and his brothers standing not far away from her. Ross gives her an apologetic look but Liz doesn't bother to at least give him a smile.

"Business Class with the destination to Puerto Rico is now boarding. Please make your way to the front of the gate." A person over the PA system says making Liz walk away.

"Don't worry Ross she'll eventually come around." Rocky says to Ross putting his hand on Ross' shoulder.
