Chapter 23: The Truth Comes Out

ROSS' POV

"5 minute break everyone then we'll pick up right where we left off." The director says as everyone nods and either walks off to get a snack or simply just relax for a few minutes.

"Ross! Rydel told us everything." Rocky says as he and the rest of my siblings run up to me.

"Really Rydel I thought we had a deal. I pour out my feelings and you keep them a secret." I say to her as she nods.

"I know but they're my brothers I can't really keep secret from them." Rydel says as I sigh.

"So how does it feel now that you and Liz are official? Does it feel weird working with your girlfriend?" Ryland says as I look at him surprised.

"Rydel what did you tell them?!" I say to her as she shakes her head.

"I never said you two were a couple. I only said that he finally had the courage to admit his feelings to himself." Rydel says as my brothers nod.

"Oh! Well next time Rydel be more specific." Riker says as Rydel sighs and shakes her head.

"More specific? How much more specific can I get?" Rydel says as my brothers make fun of her.

"Ross, I don't get it. If you like Liz why don't you tell her how you feel? That way you two can be a couple." Rocky asks as I shrug my shoulders.

"As much as I would love to do that I don't think I should. It wouldn't be the right thing to do." I say to them as they look at me confused.

"You like her, finally after all these months you finally admitted those feelings and telling her isn't the right thing to do? You're so difficult." Riker says as I shake my head.

"As soon as I admitted those feelings to myself I really wanted to tell Liz, but then someone told me something very important. They told me that mixing business and pleasure maybe isn't the right thing. If I really care about her I can wait." I say as they nod.

"That was me. I'm glad you took my advice." Rocky says as I shake my head.

"It wasn't you. It was someone who knows Liz very well." I say to them as Rocky smirks.

"See so it was me." Rocky says as we all roll our eyes.

"You don't even know Liz's birthday. Now let's leave Ross alone cause he has a movie to film." Riker says as I nod.

"Break a leg out there." Rydel and Ryland tell me as they run out with Rocky and Riker following behind.

Before my 5 minute break is over I go over to the water cooler and get a drink. As I get a water I overhear a very interesting conversation.

"Bet? There was no bet? We were all team Ross." I hear someone say as other voices begin joining in.

"How can we be team Austin? We barely knew the guy." Another voice says as I try to get closer.

"We got to know him in two days, but I like him as a friend and that definitely doesn't mean I'm team Austin." Someone else joins as I now realize that it's some of the cast.

"Hey guys!" I say to the small group making them jump and scream.

"Ross, hey how's it going." John says nervously as I smile at them.

"Well we should get ready. The five minutes are almost up." Grace says as she, John and Garrett walk away.

"Chrissie, wait. Were all of you talking about Liz, Austin, and I? I won't be mad if you say yes I just want to know." I ask as she sighs.
