HEAD OVER HEELS { Adam Banks }

First day of a horrible year.

"You ready?" Rick said as he put his arms around his siblings.
"No."
"Yeah"
Joey and Thomas say at the same time.
"fun." Rick sarcastically says as he walked towards the school entrance.
"Ok, all y'all's stuff are in your dorms!" Joey's dad says to the twins.
"Thanks dad!" Tommy smiled.
"Yeah, thanks dad" Joey said.
The dad nodded before pushing his kids towards the school.

"Ok, the dorm keys are over there" Tommy pointed to an office.
"and the schedules are over here" Joey said.
"I get the dorms you get the schedules" Tommy said.
"BREAK" They both said as they clapped.
"Hi i'm i was wondering if i could get me and my brother's schedules for the year" Joey said politely to the women at the desk.
"Yeah, what names?" The women sighed.
"Uh Josephine and Thomas Riley" Joey replied.
"Your taking very advanced classes Josephine, you sure your ready for that?" The women looked Josephine up and down.
"Yeah i'm sure. i mean i wouldn't be in them if i wasn't ready for them" Joey answered.
"Mhm." The women handed the schedules to Josephine.
"She's a real hoot" A boy said as he walked next to Joey.
"Yeah, it doesn't seem like she's a big fan of me" Joey laughed.
"I'm Luis Mendoza" The boy shook Joey's hand.
"Joey Riley" Joey smiled.
"Well what "advanced" Classes are you taking?" Luis asked as he looked at her paper.
"Cool! we have math together!" Luis smiled.
"Yeah! i guess i'll see ya there" Joey smiled and went separate ways.
"Here you go missy" Thomas handed Joey her key.
"Thank you" She smiled.
"You have a dorm buddy, Julie Gaffney" Tommy informed.
"Do you have a dorm buddy?" Joey asked.
"Yeah it's just Carter Lockwood" Tommy said.
"I hate that guy" Joey cringed.

As Josephine walked into her dorm she saw a girl sitting on her bed unpacking what looks to be hockey stuff.
"Oh my god hi! you must be Josephine!" the girl got up with a smile.
"Call me Joey and you must be Julie!" Joey smiled.
"Yeah!" Julie nodded.

"So, what's with the hockey stuff?" Joey asked.
"Oh i play 2nd goalie for the new JV team!" Julie smiled.
"Well we should go to the auditorium for the welcome back to school stuff" Julie said.
"Good idea" Joey smiled.

"Hey Joey!" Scooter smiled as Joey took a seat next to him.
"Hey Scooter! how was your summer?" She asked.
"Pretty good. you excited to be here?" He asked.
"It's alright so far. the front desk women doesn't like me tho" Joey laughed.
"What did you do this summer?" Scooter asked.
"I hung out with Jessie all summer" Joey smiled.
as the dean talked and talked Scooter and Joey were having a great conversation.
all the sudden the curtain fell to reveal a a group of people trying to get up.
"Hi....we're the ducks" A brunette smiled.
he looked familiar but Joey couldn't put a finger on it.
Joey made eye contact with a blonde boy. he had blue eyes  and was dressed properly with a bow tie.
Adam smiled but Joey got distracted with her brother's voice talking to her.
"Joey!" Rick yelled.
"Yeah!" Joey answered.
"What are you looking at?" Rick asked.
"You." Joey joked.
"Ha ha very funny" Rick rolled his eyes.

"Josephine, It's nice of you to join us" The teacher said as Joey stumbled into the classroom.
"Sorry. My locker got stuck" Joey said.
"Just take a seat next to Scooter" The teacher said.
Joey walked over to the seat and sat down.
"Good first impression" Scooter laughed.
"Shut up" Joey said.
"Adam?" Charlie waved his hands in front of the distracted boy's face.
"What?" Adam asked.
"You were looking at that girl" Charlie pointed to Joey.
"Yeah, i'm aware" Adam said.
"Do you like her?" Charlie teased.
"no. i do not." Adam replied.
"Are y'all looking at Joey Riley?" Luis budded in.
"i don't know" Adam said.

"So do we have any good players on JV or are they all just wimps" Rick said as he sat at the lunch table.
"Well their all good-" Scooter started.
"Not a way to start that sentence Scooter" Rick said.
"I heard 99 Banks is a real good player" Cole said.
"Ok Wheres Joey?" Rick asked.
"I don't know" Scooter said.
"How do you not know where my sister is? you were with her all day!" Rick said.
"I saw her near the pay phones outside the library" Cole informed.
"Thank you" Rick then got up and went to find his sister.

"I don't know Jes, It's not that fun here" Joey said.
"I can come to your dorm if you want!" Jessie said on the other line of the phone.
"No but i'll keep that offer in mind" Joey said.
She noticed Rick walking towards her.
"Look Jes, i gotta go. i'll call you later!" Joey said.
"Bye! love you and get good grades!" Jessie said.
Joey laughed before ending the call.
"I need you to do me a favor" Rick said.
"That depends what is it?" Joey asked.
"I need you to go to the JV practice and keep your eye on 99 Banks" Rick explained.
"Yeah no way" Joey walked away.
"Come on Jo! We need an extra player since Trevor left and it will get you in spirit" Rick pleaded.
"I don't know anything about hockey anyways ask Tommy" Joey said.
"If i ask him will you go with him" Rick asked.
"Fine. but only if Tommy goes" Joey said.
"Yes! thanks Jo!" Rick hugged his sister and walked away.
Joey groaned in realization of what she just agreed to.
