"well maybe you should think of what you just said and shove it up your ass-"
"what's going on?" Rick walked up to the two.
"I was just showing him the way out of this stupid conversation" Joey smiled innocently.
"i'm not gonna stop until you say yes!" Carter said as he walked off.
"Your coming to dinner with us and JV" Rick said.
"Tonight?" Joey questioned.

" of course! we can sit next to each other!" Adam exclaimed.
"That depends on if i want to." Joey joked.
Adam laughed.
"You are something else Josephine." Adam said.
"I'm anything BUT something" Joey said.

does this drop dead gorgeous, more than life girl with a great sense of humor, an amazing personality and smarts like no other really doubt herself?

As Joey walked out of the bathroom in a plain black dress she saw Julie looking at herself in the mirror.
"You look gorgeous, Julie" Joey said, coming up behind her.
"really? you think so?" Julie asked.
"I know so" Joey smiled.
Julie pulled Joey into a hug.
"Thank you Joey. for everything. you have helped me through this whole preppy school thing so much. i love you." Julie pulled away from the hug.
"I love you too, Julie. now let's go!" Joey said as she grabbed her bag and ran out with Julie following.

As the girls get outside they see Rick, Adam, and Scooter at Rick's car.
"Hi guys!" Julie greeted.
"Hi Julie! Hi Joey!" Scooter smiled.
"Hey" Joey smiled.
As they all got in the car Adam sat next to Joey.

"How are you this fine evening?" Adam asked.
"I am just lovely, How about you?" Joey smiled.
"I'm am quite great thank you" Adam said.
"I like your tuxedo" Joey complimented as she fixed Adam's tie.
"Thank you, i like your dress" Adam said.
"Thank you very much" Joey smiled.
"So uh i was wondering what your doing tomorrow night?" Adam asked.
"Nothing why?" Joey asked.
"Uh i was wondering if you wanted to go to the diner" Adam said as he scratched his neck nervously.
"like a date?" Joey smirked.
"Uh you could say that" Adam smiled.
"then consider it a date, Banks" Joey smiled.
Adam's face lit up.
"well till then." he said as they pulled up to the restaurant.
"Till then" Joey smiled.
"your sitting directly in front of me, Joey" Rick said.
"Why?" Joey asked.
"Because i want to make sure your ok" Rick said.
"I can take care of myself, Ricky" Joey said.
"Don't call me that, Josephine" Rick spat.
Joey gave him an annoyed look before they headed in.
Joey wondered why he brother was being so over protective? why did it matter where she sat? he would still be able to see her. why did he feel the need to push her buttons? why did he get so mad when she called him Ricky? she always called him Ricky. Why did he have to know everything that was going on in her life? its her life not his.
