ADIA
Los Angeles, California
Verse One, Chapter Sixteen"Welcome home," Adia smiled as Kasir opened the cream-colored door. Her mouth widened at the staircase that stood in the middle of the room. She walked inside shocked at how big and beautiful the place was.
"This is an apartment?" Kasir nodded tucking his bottom lip between his teeth as he watched her look around the place. "What the fuck?" She laughed at how beautiful it all was. She would have never expected this but she definitely wasn't complaining.
"Look Ritz you see mommy's kitchen?" She asked as her dog sniffed the bottom of the counter. "Regan, you like it?" Her cat sat in a corner not interested in the new place at all. "Kasir this is amazing I don't know how I can thank you."
"I can think of a few ways." She blushed as he pushed himself off of the wall and grabbed her hand. "Come on let me show you the rest of it." He took her around the place showing her that she had her own little gym, a pool room connecting to an outside pool, a small theater, and lastly her bedroom.
"Oh my God!" She squeaked jumping on the huge bed. It was the biggest she had ever seen in her life it could fit at least 10 fully grown men. "This bed is huge!" She began jumping on it watching as Kasir went to a door and opened it, it was the closet. She stopped jumping and climbed down walking towards the open door.
"Jeez," She stared in awe at the circle of mirrors that stood before her. The closet was painted a beautiful light pink color and was just as big as the house itself.
"You already got companies wanting to pay you to wear their stuff and to send you free stuff. Before you know it this whole closet will be full of clothes." Adia couldn't hold it in anymore she broke out into the ugliest cry and didn't care one bit. Kasir chuckled wrapping his arms around her and allowing her to cry in his chest. "You deserve it all."
"I don't," She shook her head.
"Yes, you do. I'm making a promise to you right now," He stepped back so she could look him in his eyes. "No matter what Adia I got you, you just gotta trust me okay?"
"Why?" She just couldn't understand why Kasir was so infatuated with her. She wasn't that special and she wasn't making him any money right now so it didn't make sense. He was all over her, giving her chance after chance and she couldn't figure out why.
"Because you're you, that's why." That didn't answer her question at all but she let it go for now and wiped her face clean. "Now rest up because tonight I'm having a party for you. We welcoming you to LA and there will be some important people there so please be on your best behavior."
"Of course. Thank you Kasir really." He smiled and left her place. Adia sighed going back to her huge bed and laying down. She touched her stomach tapping it lightly. All she could think about after Kasir left was her baby. Adia tried so much to block it all that now it was all she could think about. She felt like the worst person in the world.
"I killed my baby," She sobbed lightly to herself. "I killed my baby," She repeated crying harder. Adia didn't try to contain her tears anymore. She had been through so much shit in under a year. It blew her mind how much can change and how quickly it could do so. After Rome died her life just went under. She missed him so much. He was her person at one point and she could always talk to him about anything. He never judged her and gave her the best advice and he always looked out for her. He would've never let her even get involved with Boss the way she had. He would've taken her home that night and he definitely wouldn't have taken advantage of the fact that she was drunk and emotional. He would've made sure that she didn't depend on liquor to mask her emotions. Rome would've taken good care of Adia. But that wasn't possible.
