"Hi Scarlet," my mom replied. I stood there gawking at her.

"But you... and... I... and.....how?" I stuttered. She just laughed.

"You used to be so smart. What happened?" she asked. I got offended.

"I wasn't the one who died was I? I wasn't the one who left their family alone. Why did you leave us?" I cried out.

She grew quiet and I knew I hurt her. "We found your body dead in an alley. You know how sad you made use feel?" I continued.

"That wasn't my body you found... it was the girl....I killed," she whispered. I stared at her in shock.

"You're a... vampire?" I asked. She nodded and replied, "You're half vampire and half human."

"Oh please. I could be called full vampire right now," I mumbled.

"What?"

"Oh... you know that guy that nearly killed me?"

"Yes."

"That's dad."

"Oh."

I nodded and replied, "Yeah. Oh." Then Ty finally decided to come.

"Scarlet? Next time, following me should be a rule when walking with you somewhere," he said then looked at my mom. "Who's she?"

"Um... my mom," I replied. His eyes grew wide and he whispered, "Vampire."

"Let me guess. You're a vampire as well?" my mom asked. Ty nodded.

"For some reason, you look familiar," he said.

"Um... you look like someone I used to know as well." I stared at them and we all walked to Ty's home.

"Why is SHE here?!" Stephanie yelled. I looked to where she was staring at...it was my mom.

"Oh. Hello Stephanie. I see your 'wound' is healed," my mother said. Stephanie looked like she was going to kill her.

"What? You guys know each other?" I asked. They both stared at me, bitterly.

"Yes." Stephanie hissed.

"How?" I asked. I stared at Katrina. She shrugged and so did Ty. "Care to tell her Stephanie? Or should I?" my mom said.

"Why don't you? I mean she is your child," Stephanie replied.

"Well, I hate to break it to Stephanie but your children are as confused as mine. But eh, what the heck? I'll say it anyways," my mom said back.

"It was 1984. That was the night I met Stephanie. We both were drunk and well... it's a long story."

"We have time. Now speak Mother." I said.
