Chapter 24

Meredith and Addison were woken up to loud knocking on the front door. Both Meredith and Addison groaned and slowly slowly got out of the bed and made their way to the kitchen.

"I'll start the coffee. You get the front door?" Addison asked, rubbing her eyes.

Meredith nodded and slowly made her way to the front door to open it. She opened the door and saw a woman who was about 5'4 with long brown hair, a simple purse in her hand and was ready to knock on the door till she saw the front door open and saw Meredith.

"Is Addison here?" The woman asked.

"Amy?" Addison called out.

"Addie!." Amelia shouted, running past Meredith and ran into Addison with open arms.

"Oh my god it's been so long how are you?" Addison asked her excitedly.

"I've been good. Now where is this girl you called me about?" Ameila asked getting right into it.

"Oh right. Meredith meet Amy, Amy meet Meredith." Addison said, introducing the 2 girls to eachother.

"Amy is only for you and Derek." Ameila whined. "But I'm Ameila/" She said to Meredith, giving her hand to Mer.

"Oh nice to meet you." Meredith whispered quietly. She was a never shy person but all of a sudden, a wave of shyness hit her.

"I don't bite." Amelia chuckled.

"Amy sit down and get to know Meredith. I'm going to start breakfast." Addi smiled.

Meredith and Amelia went into Meredith's room. Meredith didn't like meeting new people especially when it had to do with her mental health. According to her, mental health should be kept to yourself or maybe a therapist if a person is comfortable with them. But never to a person they or other people their close with should know.

Meredith's fear was telling somone then they talk about it as if her mental health was a gossip topic. But also talking about it made it seem and feel more real. But all she wanted was to get help so if talking to Amelia would help her get help, that's something she was willing to do.
