All my emotions came back and was hitting me hard, tears started to form in the corners of my eyes but i couldn't let seeing him, upset me like that. So i did what i learnt all my life to do, bite my tongue and move on. No one seem to even notice my close interaction with a breakdown which made it much easier to move on but a little pang in my heart made me wish that someone, anyone could have seen that i was upset. I stuck my thoughts back into the emptiest corner of my mind and focused on what books i had to get out for the first two periods.

The day seemed to go slower than normal, i couldn't help but feel a little lost. Throughout the whole day i had a dazed expression spread across my face but no one seemed to notice. Until in fourth period we had english, which i unfortuanately have with him. He was already seated and as i was walking in, i felt like i was in another world but i took my first steps through the door and my eyes locked into his and his eyes locked into mine. His eyes were full of compassion and he also had a worried look, for a plit second it looked like he was going to ask me if i was okay but he held back.

Everyone must've seen what happened as they were all engrossed in their conversations. I wished that i was with him still and that i hadn't received that text. Anger started to boil my blood, at how pathetic i sounded. He dumped me! And i don't need him anymore!

As i got home after a day of confusing emotions, i suddenly realised that my own personal hell didn't end at school. I had seen much of that guy some call my father and i didn't want to. Though it seemed to be inevitable to avoid conversation with him forever, i was gonna give it my best shot.

Stepping through the front door, a scent of white chocolate and raspberries muffins overtook my senses as it led my body to the source of the smell. My taste buds were getting excited as i picked up the biggest muffin but before i could get a decent bite into it, something took it away from my mouth. Making me let out a groan.

"Haha, i knew you'd love these. But first go and get changed out of your uniform." He instructed.

I left the kitchen stomping my feet, i had an idea to wear my half top that my aunty had given me and my shortest shorts that had rips in them. But i didn't have the energy to find them. So i went with a plain black singelet and a pair of sweat pants.

As i came back into the kitchen, i half ran to grab the muffin that i had begun to eat before. The muffin was still warm and the chocolate melted and was oozing in my mouth. I guess i forgot how well he could cook.

As if you cue at the thought of his name he popped up out of no where and started asking questions.

'How was your day?' 'What did you learn?' Before i could stop myself a sly remark escaped my mouth.

'Why would you like to know? You didn't care three years ago when you left, why would you care now?' Just at that statement his shoulders shrunk, but i could tell this wasn't going to be the end of the conversation.
