Chapter 13

I couldn't wait to get dressed, after I had my shower I let it dry in the towel because blow drying it always makes it go frizzy. After it was completely dry Mia started to curl it, i have honestly never seen my chocolate brown hair look so good. It hung half way down my back and after pleading with Mia she let me braid the front of my hair so it would stay out of my way.

Then I straightened Mia's blonde hair and did a waterfall braid in it.

Then, MAKEUP! Mia was an expert in makeup i on the other hand can only do the basics. I don't know how she did it but she was able to make my brown eyes look incredible and I have never looked so good.

If i can say so myself my dress looked even better on me now than in the store. I looked so hot, not cute, not adorable H-O-T! HOT! Even as i was putting in my dangily earrings and Mia walked in i swear she just stood there for like 30 secs before saying 'Daym girl! Your lookin fine!'

I was so happy, even though the dress was a bit shorter than usual, the shoes were higher and my make up was much more daring but I had a smile a mile wide. My tan skin even complimented the dress too, the dress clung to me showing off my body and i couldn't wait for the party to begin.

Nothing could dampen my mood

......So i thought.

We were a 20 minutes late because Mia's parents were late picking us up even though i hate being late, my smile couldn't secape me. I stepped out of the car with a little step because  really didn't want to fall over. As we got to the front door i could hear the music blaring already but i didn't say anything just smoothed out my dress.

I was starting to feel a little self conscienous but i knew that it would fade as i got used to the atmosphere. This party was going to be fun, i could already tell. I smiled and stepped in the door.
