Chapter 8

As we walked into the first shop i instantly relaxed. Just the armoa of the shopping centre can always calm me and put a smile on my face.

'What do you reckon about this one?' I asked grabbing the first one i saw off the rack.

'Hmmm, maybe you could go a little more daring, considering that one would go down to your knees.' The party girl Mia replied.

'Yea, i guess so.'

'Woa! You would look hot in this one!!' I squeeled to.

'Omg, i love it! It's perfect, and not too short or too long and i can wear my black wedges with it. Yay! Yay! Yay!'

'Plus it's only $45 so you can look for other stuff too!'

'Perfect, but first we need to find a dress for you. Just after i try it on.'

As i was dawdling around waiting for Mia to show me, i found a few cute things but i kinda wanted to be more rebel. I mean i needed to make a come back from friday and what better way to do that than to look ultra hot at a party......

'What do you think?' Mia asked interrupting my thoughts.

I could tell even before i looked that it was good because Mia's voice was quiet telling me that she was shy. It did look gorgeous, i have to admit.  'You looking so beautiful! i half screamed.

We just stood there for a few moments, then Mia went and said. 'Okay, time for us to find you a hot dress.'

As Mia was getting changed, i checked that i had my phone and my wallet. I also checked that i had all my money still in my wallet. $85........$90.....$98. Perfect. It took me forever to save that much, but i know it's all going to be worth it once Tyler sees me in my dress.

'Okay, you ready? I asked as we were heading to the counter to pay. But just as we went to the checkout i turned around and saw the most gorgeous dress. It had three quarter sleeves but they were laced and dress was black with lace over the top. It was a little shorter than i would have normally picked but i was feeling adventourous.

As Mia had finished paying she just realised where i went and as soon as she saw the dress she said

'that's your dress.'

I could have screamed right then and there with excitement.

After I'd tried it on, i went to the checkout. On the tag it said $54 which was alright I guess, but as the lady scanned it she said it was only $36! because it was on sale. I couldn't have been happier.

So after that we went to the food court and we both shared chips and gravy, our favourite.

Finally, we went looking for shoes becasue we didn't have to be home for a few hours and we both had a fair bit of money left.

 So we went to our favourite shoe shop, crazy about shoes. As soon as we walked through the front door we spotted the perfect shoes. Mine had a bit more of a heel then i tend to wear but other than that i loved them. They were like black sandals with a really high heel. And Mia's were pretty too.

They were just like her wedges but they were a bit more sparkles and they had a larger heel.

After we were done shopping, we went to the train station and parted our ways but not before agreeing to meet up at Mia's house at 5:30 tomorrow night. I got home feeling pleased with myself, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face for hours.
