Two days later and Nicole was still looking for my surprise. How did Reece think that was supposed to work? Telling Nicki, he would get her a surprise, which ended in her not seeing him in two days. Two days, he's been gone on a business trip that just sprung up in the middle of the night. Then again, it may have been his grandmother who's been up her ass teaching Nicole about Scottish tradition and keeping her away from everyone else. Still, it was fun to learn something other than what the people of America wanted them to know, and most were lies. Right now, Innis was teaching her about the traditional marriage ceremony, which wasn't happening.

"Reece will not be wearing a Kilt if we were to marry. I understand they have been in your family for years, but it's time for a change," Nicole laughed, making Innis giggle as she shook her head.

"Nicole, you are something else once you open up and stop being scared of things. I have taught you all I can for now about Scottish history. The rest you have to learn on your own. Tell me, what else do you want to know about our family?" Innis said as Nicki sat there thinking about what else she could learn. Nicole wanted to know more about Reece, wondered if Innis would tell her.

"More about Reece."

"Hmmm... Like what?"

"Whatever you tell me. Or want to tell me. I know there are somethings he has to tell me on his own. I can tell he has secrets. I'm not mad about that because of the secret I held from him when he was only trying to help me. I'm just scared of what they may be." Nicole spoke honestly. Innis smiled and nodded as she scratched her head.

"I don't think there is anything to be scare of. Just as I told you yesterday, Reece is Reece. Don't let what you find out about him hinder what you love about him. He will always be the Reece you know in front of you. Other than that, you know he's the second to the oldest. He took over his father's business at eighteen because of his unfortunate death. That is all I can tell you. Talk to your boyfriend...."

"Do you know if he has any children? I know you say something about them having children, but, you know."

"If Reece has any children, I know nothing about it. None of my big-headed grandchildren have children, far as I know. Trust I don't know how," She laughed. "Why you don't like children?" Innis finished.

"I do! I love kids and want some soon, but I also want to be sure that the man I have them with wants them too. I was pregnant earlier this year, and its father beat it out of me. Trust me. If I had known I was pregnant a lot sooner, I would gotten rid of it. I thought he would have done the right thing for some reason, but then again, he's a drug dealer and whatever he does for Reece. I have no problem if Reece had a child, but I would like to know and not be blindsided by a baby mama. Sometimes I feel that Reece doesn't trust me enough to tell me shit. That is was hurts...," Nicole said as Innis patted her thigh, making her smile.

"Reece wouldn't do anything like that to the woman he loves. My grandson is crazy about you. If he were, you wouldn't be here with his family... Your family because that is what we are...."

"How could you say that I'm your family when you know nothing about me?" Nicki asked. A big smile came across Innis's face as she took ahold of her hand, kissing it then placing her other hand on top of it.

"I don't need to know everything about you to know that you have a kind and gentle heart, but you can also be ruthless when needed. That part just hasn't been released yet. I can see it in your eyes that you will protect Reece and us if you need to because in there," She said, tapping Nicole's chest. "In there, you feel that we are your family. In there, you already starting to love Reece, if not fully in love with him. Baby, just follow your heart, and it will lead you right where you need to be." Innis said.
