"I thought I told your ass not to come back here," The man said to the person walking through his door. They smiled as he gave them a scold. The person did care. They were there for a purpose and not for the reason he thought. So, they made their way in, sitting in the seat in front of him.
"Demetrius, I need your help."
"Cherry, you need shit from me," Metrius said, getting up point to the door. She sighed, shaking her head.
"Money, please?"
"No, Cherry! You can't work here again, and I'm not giving you a fucking dime. Get the fuck out."
"Where is she?"
"Cherry, I have the slightest idea of who you are talking about," Money said. Cherry stared at the man looking for a lie that she never found. Again, she sighed, standing walking face to face to him.
"I still love you." Demetrius started to laugh, shaking his head. "I...."
"Save it, Cherry, we were done years ago. As I said, you need to leave. There is nothing here for you now. You ruin all of that the day you decided to walk away. Caring only for yourself. I hope it haunts your dreams at night." He said.
"I don't remember you being this cruel, Metrius. I need to find her...."
"Nicole," He laughed. "You want to find Nicole. The fucking daughter you left with that abusive fuck to save your own fucking life. Listen to yourself, Marie! You had a fucking chance to save yours and her life, but you chose only yours. You got me to help you fucking overdose for your daughter to find you... You fucking promise me after you got help you would come back for her... for me. What did you do? Your mulatto ass ran to Florida for five years then came because you can't live with your fucking nightmare...."
"Demetrius, it's wasn't like...."
"Tell me, what was it like then?! Because from where I'm fucking standing, it was just like that... Is she fucking mine?"
"Nicole?" Marie asked. "No, I would have told you. Earl was her dad. Mar, your fucking eyes change from hazel to green."
"I don't believe you, Marie. I had that girl in here fucking stripping... The last time I saw her, Nicki's eyes did the same thing. She came in here upset or disappointed. I was about to turn her away, but I fucking saw me in her eyes. Marie, you are a sick soul. You knew that Nicki and Davontae were my children, and you lied to me. My daughter could have had a much better life than what you gave her. You allow that nasty bitch to touch...."
"I DID NOT! You knew when I found out...."
"Yeah, I know the story besides giving her to foster care or telling me she was my daughter. You put yourself in harm's way. That wasn't helping her. You know what happened after you left. All the beating you took got reflected on her. She was too scared to leave, scared that a man who wasn't even her father would die the same faith her very alive mother did. Nicki's is gone, and it's your fucking fault. You need to leave Marie."

"Are you happy now?" Reece asked as he and Nicole laid on the bed with the children, including her siblings. Nicki nodded, placing his hand on her belly as their son moved. It brought a smile to Reece's face until his phone rang.
"This better be fucking important. I'm having family time and no time for fucking business." He said into the phone.
"Don, I think you may have a problem."
"Is that Money?" Nicole asked as Reece nodded, placing him on hold.
"Hey, Miyah and Kia, why don't you take the younger ones to the theater? We will meet you there and pick a movie."
