"I can't believe your fucking ass waited until the day of your wedding to take out your fucking braids," Tomika fussed as she helped Nicole remove her braids. She didn't see the big deal when the wedding was at four, and it was now 8:45 in the morning. It wasn't like it was going to take seven hours to remove braids unless you were lazy.

"Mika, stop fussing so fucking much. Answer me a question." Nicole said, making Tomika look in the mirror at her, then nodded. "How close were Jade and Reece when I was missing? I know he said that she came on to him, but I need to know," She asked.

"I don't know nothing about that, but I know Reece hated her. Now, I see why. There wasn't anything going on between them. You killed the bitch, and frankly, I'm glad. It was something about Jade I was starting not to trust. I can tell you that Reece tried to kill her on multiple occasions. His brothers and Lance stopped him. I was hope he did." Tomika laughed. Nicole stared at her through the mirror as Mika's eyes wandered to her brand and sighed.

"I just wanted to make sure I didn't kill her for nothing...."

"Hey, look at me. Say they did sleep together, and you killed her. So fucking what? Reece is yours, and she needed to be out of the picture. Trust me, Reece's only focus was to get his Queen back."

"Truthfully, I overreacted, and I probably won't have gone anywhere. That night I panicked... Some reason I felt trapped and look where it got me. A year-long fucking torture, and every day I wished I was here back with him. I was dumb, but it won't happen again."

"I love who you have become. I always knew there was a strong woman under that scared little girl. I just hate the only way it came out was those bastards. Jade got what was coming to her. She should have thought before trying Reece. This is your day, and please don't let other people's ill intentions spoil it." Mika said, making Nicki nod as she removed the last braid. Moments later, Kiera ran through the door with Nailah on her hip and Michael right behind her.

"Mama!" Both children yelled as Michael ran to Nicole, and Nailah wiggled herself free. Nicki smiled as she turned her chair, holding open her arms for them to run into, kissing them on their heads.

"You want a hug and kiss too," Tomika asked Kiera as she pulled her to Nicole. She didn't waste time hugging her little sister and kissing her forehead as she smiled and hugged me back. It was the first time since she had been there that Nicki held her in her arms.

"Aww, isn't this sweet. I hate to break this up, Nicki, but I need DNA samples from you and your little sister." Adele said. Kiera quickly pulled away, running to her, hugging as Dele hugged her back.

"Again? Aunt Dele, I thought yours connects used my DNA to match with hers before sending her here. You just took my little sister that damn fast," Nicole said as Adele stared, waiting for Nicki to open her mouth. She sighed, letting her do her job before she turned and left.

"What was that about?"

"Mama, what are you doing. The wedding starts in two hours, and you down in here... running DNA tests." Xerxes said, looking at the results of Nicki and her sister's DNA results. He arched a brow, looking at what she was comparing them to.

"Ma, is this what I think it is?"

"This stays between us for right now."

"Nicki needs to know the truth...."

"And she will... after the wedding," Adele said, making Xerxes sigh but nod his head.

"If you don't tell her, I will...."
