After getting back to the Köhler's Community, Reece still couldn't shake the feeling this wasn't just a local gang. It was too many of them. He knew this because he himself had his share of gangs back in New York. It was never over two hundred men, and they weren't dumb enough to send their whole gang after six people.

"What are you thinking about?" Nicole asked, walking out of the bathroom. Reece smiled up at his wife before slipping on his shirt.

"Nothing but a thought, really. I don't think it was The Eastsiders that attacked us earlier. They had snipers and to fucking skilled at fighting. This was Christian. I can feel it. But don't worry about it, Bòidheach. I will talk it over with Xerxes. One more thing. You are three, almost four months pregnant. Baby, you don't need to be out there fighting like this. I rather be hurt or killed than have that happen to you or our child," Reece said, touching Nicole's belly. She placed her hand on top of his and smiled.

"I know, but rather we both live. At long as I can help, I will. Pregnant or not. Raine and Aria are teaching me to be a sniper. The two are crazy with guns."

"That they are. Before I forget, your horse is down at the stables. So are the dogs that were in the yard. I don't think any of Xerxes's dogs are like them," Reece laughed.

"Yeah, because they are different. All you see around here are Cane Corso, Huskies, and Great Danes, besides the little dogs running around," Nicki laughed, going into the closet.

"Eli, what the fuck are you doing in the kitchen?"

"Minding my fucking business," Elijah said to Mariah. He wasn't mad at his wife but at himself for not paying attention to his surroundings.

"Baby, you know the food is done. Opa and the rest did that. What are you cooking?" She said. Elijah just side-eyed her and continued what he was doing. Cooking calmed his nerves, and she was in there working them up again.

"Riah, dear, why don't you go see do your Auntie need some help... No, go make sure Nicki can fit her dress. Reece said that she was having a little trouble," Innis said. Mariah nodded her head, leaving.

"It wasn't your fault, Eli."

"Grandma Innis. How can you say that...."

"Even if you were aware of your surroundings, you still could have gotten shot. You see how that works. Baby, you didn't die. You are here doing what you love. Cooking, your children can see their father, hug him. Be grateful for that. Be grateful that you didn't leave your only daughter, two sons, and your wife. I swear that the men in our families are too hard on themselves. You can't control everything. Finish doing what you are doing, then go apologize to your wife," Innis said, pulling him down to her level kissing his cheek.

"See, you are tough. Act like it."

"Thank you, Grandma Innis. I need that."

"I know," She smirked.

"Aria..."

"Greg, not now!" Aria said, trying to walking away until Greg grabbed her arm. He quickly took his baby girl, kissing her fat cheeks then Aria's.

"I love you...."

"Greg, you can't be doing this shit. I'm marrying Yadiel."

"That's fucking rich, but you been fucking me. Aria, you're telling me that I need to get my shit together, but you do too. You think that man deserves you telling him you love him, then fucking me behind his back? Telling me the same. Ari, you are better than this, and you know it. I'm not going to sit here and watch you destroy yourself or another person because of your fucking pride. Suck it up and chose one of us because if I'm moving on. For good this time," Greg said. Yeah, his therapy session with his Uncle Luca was helping him realize a lot.
