It looked old on the outside but was beautiful inside, and the color scheme made it even more beautiful. Emerald, black, and gold, and it looked more like a wedding than a gala.

"This is beautiful, but it looks like wedding reception decorations," Nicole said, making Reece laugh as he pulled her over to where the family was sitting. It was already people sitting at the table, which Nicki presume were his family.
"Uncle, where is Auntie?" Reece asked, making the older man look over with a huge smile.
"Minding her fucking business. You act as if I'm not the one related to you by blood boy. Who is your beautiful date?" He said, making Nicole look down at her hands with a shy smile. Reece reached over, gripping her left hand, lifting it, and showing his uncle Nicole's ring.
"I wanted all of you to be at the table when we announced our engagement. First, I wanted to introduce her to the rest of the family. Where are they?"
"Well, I'll be damn! Blair, Ansley, and Drew, get your areses over here. Now, where is that sister of mines at Elsbeth? Come, come and get Fiona, Lance, Makenna, Nessa, Clyde, Duncan, and Lachlan!" He yelled across the room. Reece shook his head as his family walked up, confused.
"Uncle Craig, this better be important I was doing something," Lance said, sitting down beside a woman that looked a bit like him. Nicole could tell it was his sister but wasn't too sure about the other five.
"What you are doing is trying to make Raine kill a bitch. Just because she and the Köhler's... I take that back because Valentino and Melody just walked through the door with Neveah and Aaron. It looks like Xerxes kept his promise as always, and you know they won't hesitate to call Raine." Reece said straight, facing Lance with a smirk making the man stare back.
"For your information, Sir Gordon, I wasn't flirting or trying to fucking no one but Raine. You were watching so fucking hard you didn't realize it was her." Lance laughed, making Reece give him the finger as Raine, Melody, Valentino, Neveah, and Aaron walked over to the table.
"Xerxes and Riley sent their apologies. Avery has pneumonia, and you know they weren't about to leave her. Elijah and Cay had business elsewhere... Oh, Dad and Ma are here somewhere," Neveah said. Soon as she did, Luca and Adele popped up with his grandparents, along with Axel and Obioma.
"Sit all of you assholes. My nephew has news. Great news!" Craig said, making Nicole stare at Reece, scared. He calmly placed his hand on her thigh to comfort her some. He let her know there wasn't anything for her to worry about as he waved over Greg and his date that turned out to be Aria and wait on his stupid ass sister to show.
"Why is everyone at the table. Something going on that you're trying to keep from me again, Reece?" Alice asked, walking up. Our grandmother rolled her eyes while our Aunt Elsbeth sighed, shaking her head.
