CHAPTER 1

THE REBELS BAND

"Fuckers! Uwi na ako, I'm fucking hungry at wala man lang magpakain sa inyo, especially this Pol! walang kwenta." I started to unplug my electric guitar and put it in its leather case. I and my band mates were having a practice in Pol's house. Pol is our band drummer and backup singer, while I am the lead singer and lead guitarist.

"The heck Alex? What kind of stomach do you have? We just had our lunch two hours ago at halos ikaw ang nakaubos lahat." Pol said while looking irritated at me.

"'Di pa kayo sanay diyan kay Alex? Eh may mga anaconda at dinosaur sa loob ng tiyan niyan eh!" everyone stopped playing their instrument and look at me with amusement in their eyes.

"Baka mga demonyong bulate kamo sa sobrang katakawan!" Karl interjected, our band bassist.

"Pol dude, ask one of your maids to bring something for Alex before she turned into a glutton monster and eat us!" tumatawang ani Jay, ang rhythm guitarist ng banda.

"Yeah, for everybody's sake please ask someone to bring food for our glutton here. I really want to finish this practice. Damn, I have a date later." That was Bon, the keyboardist.

"Tangina niyong lahat! Kayo ba nagsisigaw dito habang nag gigitara at naghi-head bang? Don't you know how much energy is being exerted while a person is singing, acting and playing an instrument at the same time? Nah, you don't know 'coz you're all dumb! But because I'm great I can do all those things at the same time! You're lucky you have me! Fuck, I'm awesome! " Napanganga ang apat na gwapong lalake sa aking mga sinabi. Sa mahigit isang taon na naming magkakasama ay masasabi kong nagugulat parin ang mga ito sa mga pinagsasabi kong kabaliwan.

"Wow Alex, hiyang-hiya naman ako sayo" Pol said sarcastically and so are the others.

"Yeah, mahiya ka naman Pol, you invited me in your mansion, you should at least prepared something grand. And where is your dad by the way?"

"At ano naman ang kinalaman ng daddy ko dito Alexandria Gabrielle Alonzo?" Pol has a confused look on his face at ganoon din ang iba.

"Oh well, Senator Polario Chavez Sr. should have personally welcomed the arrival of the great Alexandria on his humble home! You know, di ako basta-basta nagpapaulak sa mga imbitasyon, and your home is quite lucky to have my presence right now!" I said with matching hand gestures and rolling of my eyes.

There. Speechless na naman ang mga loko! Nag hang na naman ang mga utak! Humagalpak ako ng tawa sa ekspresyon ng kanilang mga mukha. They all look horrified! Pagkuwan ay nagsitayuan silang apat at sumugod sa akin. I prepared myself, it looks like we will be having a royal rumble again.

Kaya bago pa ako maunahan ay sinapak ko na agad si Karl na siyang pinakamalapit sa akin at saka ako tumakbo palapit kay Bon at sinipa ito sa tuhod. Tumatawa akong lumayo kay Pol ay Karl. In times like this, walang babae-babae sa mga gagong ito, palibhasa they all knew my capability when it comes to hand to hand combat. Kaya naman they never held back.

"Tangina mo Alex lintik lang ang walang ganti!" sigaw ni Karl na ngayon ay naghahanda na sa pagsugod sa akin.

"Yeah? Come on then, give me your best, Pussycat!" hamon ko dito habang sinisenyasan ko itong lumapit sa akin. Pumosisyon akong tila isang boksengero at lumundag-lundag habang sumusuntok sa ere. I smirked ng makitang napipikon na si Karl. I removed my jacket without breaking eye contact with him while minding the others movement. Pol inched to my left side, Karl in front, Jay on her right, while Bon just leaned on the far corner of the music room smirking on us.

"Come on Pussy-Bon! Ayokong mabitin! Tatatlo lang itong itutumba ko oh!" hamon ko sa kanya.

"No thanks! I have a better use of my energy later. I'd rather wrestle with my girl on top of the bed, and I love my face so, no thanks!" wika niya na mukhang excited manood ng isang pelikula.
