Starry Nights: Cedric Diggory

It was a Friday night and you were sitting on your bed facing your best friends's bed sharing laughs.

"Okay. Okay so he said to meet for your study session at the prefect's bathroom?" Hermione giggled.

You playfully hit Hermione on the leg. "It's not funny, Hermione. I don't know what he's thinking. He told me saw me only as a friend."

"Well maybe he changed his mind, Y/N. Just go and find out what he wants. Trust me you'll be fine. And I better hear all about it when you get back" Hermione said.

"Thanks Hermione, well it's 7 I better be going now" you say before getting up and walking to the door and say goodbye to Hermione.

You walk down the staircase and through the common room and can feel your heart beating faster with each step. As you step out of the portrait and into the dimly lit hallway you think about how you'd had a crush on Cedric for a while now, but you'd always assumed he never saw you in that way because he constantly said you were friends.

This was just supposed to be a normal study session so you didn't dress up or do your hair or makeup. Looking down you started to regret wearing grey sweatpants and a maroon sweatshirt with your hair falling naturally on your shoulders and back.

Turning the final corner before the prefect's bathroom you were faced with a smirking Cedric standing by the door of the bathroom.

"Took you long enough I've been waiting for a while" Cedric says while smiling.

"Cedric, what are we doing here at the bathroom, I thought we were studying" you ask him.

" Well. Umm, Y/N, see we've been friends for a while now right?" He asked noticeably nervous now as his face began to blush a little.

"And well I'm been wanting to tell you, I like you, and I'm want to be more than friends, I want to date you Y/N" Cedric managed to get out as he ran his fingers nervously through his hair.

" Cedric, what the hell? I've liked you for a while now too" you reply and smile before pulling him in by his waist to a kiss across his soft lips.

"I only wish you would have told me you were planning on telling me tonight so I could've dressed a little nicer" you say gesturing to your outfit.

"Y/N darling, you look absolutely gorgeous to me no matter what you're wearing." Cedric says looking you up and down as if he wanted to devour you.

"Well, were you planning on taking me into the bathroom?" You ask him glancing in the direction of the door.

"Umm I was thinking if you wanted we could go in the tub, it's so large it could be a hot tub, but whatever you're comfortable with is completely fine" Cedric answers.

You push open the door lead Cedric into the bathroom smiling back at him. He closes and locks the door behind him and smiles at you.

Cedric walks over to the large bath and starts running the water from the multiple faucets. Out of a few of the sparkling gold faucets flowed a rich vanilla scented bubble bath. The aroma filled the room and you both became more relaxed.

Looking over at the filling tub, you notice the lights dimmer and the only source of light left in the room now was the twinkle from stars and the moon overhead. Cedric had cast a spell to make the ceiling appear as the night sky.

"Cedric, it's so beautiful, I love it" you say while staring up at the ceiling.

"Well I want this to be special, after all it is the first time we're crossing the friends territory"
