Chapter 17

Morning ☀️

It was early the next morning while the two boys where peacefully sleeping on the hospital bed as birds peacefully chirped outside the window. But that's when the older got a ringing pain in his head which woke him and the younger up.

"Ni-ki..... hey Ni-ki.... Babe?? Wake up" Sunoo shook the older as he held his head in slight pain.

"Sunoo?? Is everything alright??" Ni-ki nearly jumped awake as he saw the older rubbing his temples while breathing very heavily.

"I'm.. fine... just call in a nurse or something and ask for pain killers or whatever. I have a slight headache"

That's when Ni-ki nearly ran out Sunoo's hospital room and immediately tried to find a nurse/doctor.

"Hey Sunoo. You need anything? I heard you have a headache" a nurse entered with Ni-ki following close behind with a worried expression on his face as he watched everything ever so slightly.

The older just nodded as he still held his head in pain as the nurse approached him with some type of medication and sat on the chair beside his hospital bed

"On a scale of 1-10. How would you rate your pain??" She asked as Sunoo held up 9 fingers and continued to rub his head in pain as Ni-ki approached and tried to ease his pain.

"Here take these, it should help with the pain for the time being." The nurse said as she handed the pills to the older.

"When you get discharged tomorrow we will prescript you with some medications to help you with your headaches" the nurse informed as Sunoo thanked the nurse and took his pills while Ni-ki tried his best to help with the olders necessities.

"Dont you have school today Ni-ki?" Sunoo asked as Ni-ki just blankly stared at him while cupping his squishy cheeks.

"As long as I can take care of you, school isn't important. You will always be my first priority"

"Awww since when did my Ni-ki become so romantic??" Sunoo cooed and gave the younger a peck on the cheeks.

"Anyway I'm hungry" Sunoo said as Ni-ki giggled and called in Jay to bring them some food while he picks up Jungwon for school.

After Ni-ki finished talking with Jay on the phone they got an unexpected visit from the nurse.

"Hey. Sorry to interrupt guys but we have a guest here wanting to see you Sunoo, and she claims to be your mother"

"Mother?? But she's in the States!?" Sunoo said as he was also shocked at the news. But Ni-ki hearing the news took it to a different level.

Mother?? I'm going to meet Sunoo's mother?? NOW!?
-he thought as he started to panic a little bit didn't dare show it. Yes he's met Sunoo's mother before but meeting her now as Sunoo's boyfriend changed his perspective.

"Sure. Let her in, I haven't seen her in a while" Sunoo said as the nurse let his mother in as she immediately rushed to her son and gave him a big hug.

"Oh my baby. I was so worried about you. Are you ok? What happened? Do you need anything?" Ms.Kim asked as she embraced him in a big hug and just threw a bunch of questions at him.

"Slow down eomma. I'm fine now. What are you doing back from the States already?" Sunoo asked as he mother pulled away from the hug and explained everything.

"I was getting ready for a meeting and then I got a call from the Seoul hospital saying how they have you in because you had an accident at school. So I cancelled the meeting and flew back here to check up on you"

"Awwww you didn't have to do that. Besides I have Ni-ki here to look after me" Sunoo mentioned as the attention turned to Ni-ki awkwardly standing in the corner of the room.

"Oh yes. Ni-ki right?? I remember you from the tutoring with my son. So you've been looking after him I see" Ms.Kim smiled as her smile was so similar to Sunoo's.

"It's honestly not a problem Ms.Kim" Ni-ki said as he scratched his neck as Sunoo smiled at his mother and boyfriend as his mother's attention soon went back onto him.

"Your lucky to have a friend like him" Ms.Kim smiled and looked at the two but only silence was heard as her smile faded into a smirk.

"Something tells me your more then just friends am I right?" She smirked as the two blushed a bright pink, you can almost say red at this point.

"MOM!!!!!" Sunoo yelled as he covered his face in complete embarrassment as Ni-ki turned around for a bit to catch his breath.

"So you guys dating or what?"

"YES!!! Ok. Now stop embarrassing me" Sunoo uncovered his face to reveal his cheeks flushing a bright pink.

"Awwwww that's so cute." Ms.Kim giggled as she squished her sons cheeks "finally my son has someone to keep him company"

That's when a knock was heard on the room door as on the other side revealed Jay and Jungwon with a few containers of food for breakfast as the unexpected guest aka Sunoo's mother was there too.

"Omg Ms.Kim!!" Jungwon said as he ran to give Sunoo's mother a hug.

"Jungwonnie!!!" She said and hugged him back.

"Here's the food" Jay said as he handed his homemade breakfast to Ni-ki who thanked his cousins as Jungwon had a small chit chat with Ms.Kim.

"Why are you back so soon??" Wonnie asked as Ms.Kim giggled and explained the whole coming back early plan.

"Anyway Jay and I gotta get to school" Jungwon said as Jay nodded as the two walked out but would be back after school to check in.

"So Ni-ki... how have you been? How's dating my son?? Wait when did you get together??" She asked as she was clearly interested in the topic of her son dating.

"We actually got together very recently and he is honestly the best boyfriend anyone could wish for, I can promise you that I will take good care of him Ms.Kim" Ni-ki said as he tried to keep the conversation formal.

That's when Ms.Kim gave a little giggle and signalled Ni-ki to come a little closer to the bed. "No need to be so formal Ni-ki you can just call me mom now"

Hearing that Ni-ki smiled as Sunoo watched the scene of his mother and boyfriend happily chit chatting away and knowing that he has the support of his mother now in the relationship.

"Anyway imma leave you guys to your stuff now. I'm going to head home and take a business call. I'll come back in a few hours and make you lunch ok?? Have fun!!" She said as he left Sunoo's hospital room.

"What can be fun about being cooped up in a hospital room??" Sunoo asked as Ni-ki faked a cough and crouched down and pecked the olders lips.

"Because your spending your time with your one and only, awesome boyfriend. Duh"

"That's the only part I enjoy" Sunoo winked and placed a passionate kiss on Ni-Ki's lips as the younger kissed back and shared a loving kiss.

That's when they heard a camera click from the doorway as the quickly parted away and saw Sunoo's mother still at the doorway with her phone up.

"Oops. Should've turned off my sound" she giggled as he zoomed in on the photo "awww your so cute together. And no I am not deleting the photo. I shall take my leave, bye!!"

"MOM!!!"
