Chapter 11: Cancelled plans

The next day, at the Feathersons house, the Feathersons were having lunch while Mary discussed her night with Fenton.

Mary: Try to keep this a secret. He told me he was Gizmoduck.

Fawn: No way!

Mary: Actually, he's probably or probably not Gizmoduck.

Ben: How do you know? Did he told you his secret identity?

Mary: No. I found his helmet when he showed me his lab.

Ben: Say, wasn't Erynn supposed to be here?

Mary: Yeah. I called her to come over, but she hung up on me.

Fawn: Where is she?

Mary: Right now, she's trying to finish up an invention to take Alex home. After that, she's going to meet up the McDuck family and get them to spend time with Alex.... Oh no!

Ben: She's trying to get them killed too?! What's wrong with her?!

Mary: Finish your meals later. We're going.

Ben: Aw... man. I really enjoy your lasagna. I don't want to stop.

Mary: It's now or never.

Ben: I hate Mondays. I'll come back for you my love.

Outside of McDuck Manor, Erynn was just leaving.

Erynn: Thanks again. He'll be really delight to spend time with you.

Fedory: *gibberish *waving

Erynn: He said bye. Oh! Bye Dewey! *giggle

Mary: ERYNN!!!!

Mary yelled miles away as she's running with Ben and Fawn.

Mary: STOP!!!!! *gasping Are.....you........LOCO?!

Erynn: No. I'm positive.

Ben: You're always positive. What were you doing?!

Erynn: I'm trying to have the McDuck family spend time with Alex. Alex wanted to meet Della and I figured he would have a nice relationship. After that, I get a chance to take the shadow out of him.

Fawn: Sis. We know we love you. Right?

Erynn: No. I mean, yes! Yes. Sorry. Tongue slipped.

Fawn: It's fine. I have to agree with them. What you're doing is trying to make Alex have a mental breakdown. And I think it's happening when we tried to apologize before. I think it's best to just move on.

Erynn: No! I know Alex and this shadow thing. He doesn't have a perfect family and I'm trying to be the best person I can be so he doesn't have to leave from his home world!

Ben: Home world?

Erynn: I mean, move away from us.

Ben: To where?

Erynn: I don't know. I don't want him to leave. He's like a best friend and a family to me.

Fawn: Really?

Erynn: *nods yes

Fawn: Was he like a brother to you?

Erynn: No.

Ben: Cousin?

Erynn: No. Just my best friend. He's not related by blood or adopted by us, but for me, he's a family and my best friend. I'm just so scared of him leaving me. Please don't tell the McDucks to cancel it Mary.
