"Easier to breathe right?" was the first sentence escaping from Jughead's mouth when they marched out of their office on Friday at the lunch break. Betty gave a glare, but then smiled slightly. "I mean the breeze out here" Jughead smirked quickly. "No, stopped Jug. We are now better in many ways so let's enjoy the feeling," Betty said.

"But I have one tricky question for you. Or something to think about. If you are calling to your dad, it may pop out," Betty stared her hands while asking. Or saying.

"Oke-ey. Should I be scared?"

"Maybe. They invited us there. Next weekend. I don't know the answer. So you think that," Betty told. She was avoiding Jughead's eyes, because she was afraid how he will react to the invitation. She didn't even know what she thought about that. Her mother hasn't got any answer from her yet either, not a single text, and now she was little afraid what Jughead would thought of all this.

"What? Really? Can we do that? I don't know what to answer," Jughead huffed getting little nervous. "Me either. We can talk about it tomorrow?" Betty replied and looked at Jughead, who looked like he was in his thoughts, nodding to agree but his eyes were wandering through the buildings and trees around them.

Today it was just them at lunch. They walked for a while in silence and ate their bagels. Betty's mind was spinning, the thought of going back Riverdale, Kevin and Fangs, Jb and then for some reason she was thinking about baking.

"Jug? Jughead! I have an idea. For tomorrow. We were about to see anyways and discuss more about Jb, but.. what if we would invite Cheryl, Veronica, Kevin and Fangs too? Not for the talk, we could do that after, but we could make it up for poor Kevin and Fangs. And girls would murder me if I don't invite them. It could be fun? We'd make lasagne and have few beers. And I promise I can bake!" she added quickly the last one because Jughead's face looked very doubtful. Hearing Betty baking, he grinned. "If you promise to bake, and may I suggest your devilish chocolate cake, I could say maybe yes?" he replied carefully. Betty jumped clapping her hands together, she was happy. "Maybe yes it is!".

On Saturday noon Jughead was behind Betty's door. He was nervous about being with all those people again. And what was weird, he wasn't nervous about Betty. It was the others. Luckily meeting Cheryl was something he needed to wait longer since she was working today and wasn't at Betty's.

As soon as Betty opened the door, it was easier and he calmed down. Tempo was purring against his calf and he lifted the cat up on his arms as he walked to the living room.

"Jughead! So after one night, that cat is your friend, besides Betty, and for me he only gives glares and I have tried for three years now?" Veronica was greeting for the way which suited her.

What she didn't realize, Kevin and Fangs didn't know that much of their Thanksgiving. Many things happened at the same time. Kevin and Fangs shouted questions just before Jughead chuckled to Veronica's comment about the cat. Betty just stood there, mouth open.

"Everybody shut up, please! I can't take this much noise at once," Betty yelled over them. And then it was quiet. They looked at each others and finally Jughead cleared his throat. "Okay. I explain first. I'm sorry, I stole this cat's heart. I can't help it. He loves me. Sorry for your hard work Ronnie," Jughead smirked.

"That wasn't the thing I was interested to hear," Kevin mumbled as Fangs placed his hands on Kevin's shoulder to give him comfort. "Don't worry Kev, there is nothing much. As I said on the phone, we are good now with Jug. And yes, he spend a night here on the couch, because Vicky appeared at his place and I made up this stupid plan which included us to leave his building," Betty explained and Kevin gave a huff, little boring story to be honest.
