It was Thanksgiving and after a big consideration Betty, Jughead and Jb decided to go to Riverdale. Well, Jb was going anyways but Betty and Jughead weren't sure at all at first.
Because of all the hiding, they were scared. Their cute and wonderful secret (or two, wait, three or four?) had increased and it was now very scary thought to tell all these things to their parents. They were sure they'll love all of it. But it could turn to shit storm since they kept these things from them so long.
It wasn't a plan, to take this long, but somehow it went like this. Weeks turned to months and it was actually very hard to just start to talk about these kinds of things when calling about little things. And both Betty and Jughead had worked their ass off this fall and seeing their friends, so the calls, there weren't even many.
But Betty and Jughead knew they had to go and they had to tell. And actually it felt very easy option, now when they had made the final decision. They'll just walk there and Alice and Fp cannot see what's going on. So easy, you think?
And just like they planned, they drove to Elm street on Thursday with a rental car. They dropped Fangs and Kevin to Keller's house first. Those boys were messing the whole drive about this big reveal and even though they were joking, Betty was little nervous. Her mom wasn't the most easygoing person.
Jughead got their stuff from the car and with the slow steps they walked to the red door. "See you later bro!" Jb shouted while she ran further inside as they opened the front door. Jb didn't want to join for the great revelation, she knew it will be shocking and she too will be having a part in it, since she knew the whole story.
"Oh my god! Elizabet Cooper, you are pregnant!" Alice came to the door, hands covering her mouth and when hearing that, Fp appeared right back to Alice, and he looked like he was hiding a grin.
"Well, yes. Here is baby Jones one and baby Jones two," Betty showed her belly, first upper and right and then lower and left, blushing a bit, but still proud of their little ones there growing. She could do this, face the grandparents of their cuties.
"Yours?" Fp looked at Jughead with eyes wide open. No more words, he wasn't cabaple to built anything else.
"Of course, it would be weird if she would have found some other Jones than me," Jughead chuckled and stroked his wife's back, drawing little patterns with his fingers. He knew her back must been aching after the long ride here.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Alice was finally saying something after she sat down on the porch. She was smiling though, nothing to worry.
"We just let people notice when they notice. Kind of," Betty blushed. It was like this always with her mom and apparently it didn't help when she was nearly thirty.
"And before you'll notice more stuff, the babies aren't the only ones with the name of Jones," Jughead grinned and tried to not be too eager. He was still so fucking proud to call her his wife, carrying their babies.
The silence. There was just wind, but Alice and Fp, they were quiet. They looked okay though, but they didn't had words.
"Betts. You wanna go Pops for milkshake? I think they need time to process. And knowing those two manipulating you, you want something sweet," Jughead smirked to Betty when they had waited a while for some response. Betty chuckled and nod. "You know them so well already. But look at these two, they totally froze, let's go," she laughed and after they dropped their stuff inside they hurried back to the car.
"Sis! Take care of them, we are going out!" Jughead went once more back to the house and shouted to the kitchen. All he heard was his sister snickering somewhere. Well, laugh when you can.
