Jughead: Hey sis. You know I have tried very hard during these years to write you nicely. But you are dissing me to my ex. Where is your manners and why are you only agreeing with her and not your big brother. Anyways, it would be still much enjoyable to tease you in person. Hoping to see u soon, merry fucking xmas.

"I'm almost sure you should have not sent that Jug," Betty was pouting to Jug, who was like really getting little pissed them two mocking him.

Jb: Hey Betty, don't mind him. He is just pissed he don't have a sister like I do. And he can never have you like that.

"Fuck her, I think I don't need her back anymore," Jughead said still little pissed and walked out of Betty's room where they had hang all morning after breakfast. After last night text, they decided to wait until morning, so they could think about how they'll reply. Well. It didn't help in anyway since Jughead sent the text without asking Betty and he had sent that before entering her room.

"You don't mean that. You are just jealous you don't have me like her," Betty shouted to his back and followed him to his room where he was laying on the bed. Betty jumped there, next to him.

"No I'm not. Don't ever say that. I have you just like I want to. I have more than her," he murmured, didn't dare to look at her. What an image.

"So this is a competition. You can't share?" Betty tried to ask without laughing. She wasn't used to be part of this kind of arguments between siblings. It was different when you were in it yourself. This was hilarious to observe.

And even thought Jb was like a little sister to her, the discussions were still more polite with her, no teasing, no mocking, no arguments. And Jug. Well, these siblings can't never argue about the fact what she is to them, one of them have her like a sister.. And another one, well she won't never be like a sister to him. Never. Even though the loving relationship was gone, she couldn't hide the feeling. The feeling she had on her bed at that night and that morning. That she liked it. Not only friendly reasons.

"No. Yes. I can. Okay okay. Good that she has you. But you don't need to mock me like that," Jughead finally said looking at Betty.

"We mock you because we love you," Betty winked just when Alice came in a room and invited them to lunch.

When the first days and Christmas Eve itself was over, it was the day for the date. No one else knew they had this plan, and to be honest, no one would notice anything. They hang anyways together and could go and come like they wanted.

Polly was at the house for one night with the twins and her spouse. Even thought it was nice to see them, it was tireing for Betty. Others too. But the twins wanted of course their aunt's and granny's attention so it was very busy Christmas Eve.

"I think I'm more of a relaxing, quiet kind of Christmas type," Betty said on a breakfast table when her sister's family had left. Quiet laughter from others was most likely meaning that the others agreed.

"It's nice to hear your own thoughts again. I see things clearly now," Jughead grinned making Betty rolling her eyes. "What are you seeing then?" she asked smiling dubiously.

"I'm glad you asked. Because of all the snow we got yesterday, we are going to the hills and we'll take a little sleigh ride. When it's darker of course and no one could see how two adults are playing in the snow," he suggested hoping Betty would get the hint that the date, it was happening now, then, today.

"I see. I guess we are going then. Can we play board games after lunch, all of us?" Betty looked at Jughead knowing his purpose of the discussion. Everyone agreed to board games, so Alice left the kitchen looking for the games while rest of them laid in the livingroom on their pajamas watching tv until it was lunch time.
