It was a Saturday on the end of the October. Almost preciously one year from the lovely dinner at Kevin and Fangs's when Jughead stormed out.

A lot had happened in a year and little over. They met, they kept it okay, they became friends, they talked, they worked, they found Jb, they fell in love again, they moved together, they were waiting not just one but two babies.

There was a day, when they were a couple who moved slowly and calmly, they had no rush to do things, no rush to achieve "couple goals". They thought month ago it's the case now too. Apparently the universe thought differently and was done waiting. Apparently the seven years was enough of waiting and now they needed to speed up. Starting with the two little beans growning inside Betty.

It had been rainy fall and this day wasn't exception. It wasn't storm but this beautiful mix with the mist and rain. Betty and Jughead walked through the park after they had lunch at their favourite place nearby.

Jughead had been thinking about it all week. How their lifes went on so differently, in no fucking order. Ar first he was little frustrated since he thought he was more traditional guy. But there was nothing traditional about their relationship. It was exhausting even tell their story to someone, it was a mess. So after days of thinking, he admitted that there is no chance to clean the mess so they could just do everything in a different way.

He stopped walking and Betty needed to stop too since his hands were on hers. He bit his lip and started, actually feeling very confident and ready to talk her in. "I have a question. Or statement. You know I'm gonna marry you one day", he looked to Betty who was raising her brow. She didn't know where this was going. But she grinned. She knew her answer to that question.

"Ha. Well. I knew it when we kissed on February," she laughed a bit, it was so simple. She just knew it and like they talked, there was no other way. Only "for the rest of our lives". Jughead chuckled, he knew her answer. Kind of boring too, that she knew the story already, and that was the reason Jughead had his thoughts earlier this week. And why he was doing this now.

"So if I propose you one day, it's not news for you?" he asked quite seriously.

"Well, I guess not," Betty replied slowly, wondering why this talk now in this mist.

Jughead couched and took a grip on her both wrists. His eyes dived into hers and he was smiling to his ears. Placing a kiss on her lips and then the tip of her nose he rested his forehead to hers.

"Let's get married next week. City hall. You don't even like being the person everyone look at. Me either. We don't like crowds. But I'd love to call you Elizabeth Jones."

When the first words came out, Betty's knees were jelly and mouth changing its way from smile to 'o'. Then it was just her laughter. Little nervous and little free.

"You are crazy Jug," she shooked her head still laughing. His grip was still tight on her wrist but he moved his hands on her waist, trying to calm her stupidly cute giggle. He lifted one hand on her cheek and made her look at him. "About you, I'm so crazy about you," he said slowly, trying to convince Betty he was serious. Even though he was crazy.

Betty was finally quiet and looked at Jughead. He was kind of right.

"They are gonna kill us," she whispered. Jughead backed up and his grin was bigger than ever before.

"Is that a yes?" now his voice was little hoarse. The whole thing was real now.

"Shit. It's a yes!!" Betty giggled and covered her mouth on her hand. What the hell they just did!
