"It doesn't matter if it was a dream or not, we made it this far, and I'll remember that our adventure is HOME" ~ Tuck
Third Pov
Tuck sprouts out of bed and looks around. He sees his desk, soundboard, cameras, and television. He looks down and sees he's not in his pajamas, but jeans and a tshirt. The same clothes he had when he was fighting Hiker. He was so confused and looked for his phone.
Reginald, or Munch, wakes up exactly twenty minutes after Tuck and feels himself sweating and crazy. He was holding the sword in his hand as if he was just there and didn't come back. He doesn't remember much at all, but he looks at the calendar and sees it's Graduation Day. He gets out of bed and trips on the laser gun. All he is thinking is was it a dream?
Alex wakes up super early and realizes what is going on, well not really. His eyes widen as he sees it is only 6:30 am. He groans then remembers what has happen the past twenty four hours. He sees the sword belt and laser gun hung on where his backpack usually is. He starts looking for his phone under all the clothes he had or at least his laptop.
Jack and Emma slept over each other's house and found them on Jack's couch. Echo looks at them as they wake up and as Jack sits up her head bangs against Emma's. The girls laugh as they feel their heads. Emma soon notices that they both had the same clothes on as yesterday.
All that ran in the kids mind was if their whole break was a dream or real life? Or was it a dream that just felt real to touch? Someone had the answers, just who though?
The camera was set up as Emma sits looking at her reflection into her compact. She then looks at Tuck who starts counting down.
"Tell me how you met your friends?" Tuck asks her the first question.
"I met them by our friend Echo. Without him, I think there wouldn't be a bond to hold us together," Emma responds with a smile at the memory. The way she act as she looks at the construction guys and lie to them AJ easily they even bought it.
"How did you know your boyfriend Tuck was the one?" Tuck asks ad he smirks.
"I knew when he looked at my face and always smirk at me or be cocky," she giggles.
"If you never met your friends, where do you think life would be like?" Tuck asks. Emma remains silent. That question never came to her mind.
"I would be doing ballet still, going to Juilliard, but never experienced the feeling of adventure," she responds.
Emma looks at herself in her full length mirror. How she has her pink soft dress and her tan heels on. She slips the gown and hat on her head and looks at herself. She's finally a senior who's graduating, going to Juilliard and getting her dreams.
Jack dusts her leather jacket off as she looks at the camera. No one was behind it and she knew she'll just do a quick documentary.
"Hi, I'm Jackson Rebel. I'm eighteen officially and I'm loving life. I'm here to tell you how I met my friends. It all started with a little alien name Echo. He brought us all together and kept us together. If I haven't met Echo or my friends, I probably be in a different state or being that loner girl. I'm glad for the high school life I had. It was full of adventure and love. To be honest, I'm the happiest person I ever felt," she explains her story.
Jack looks at her outfit. A black lace skirt and crop top. She had a leather vest on and just smirked. She was graduating now, off to college, and starting her career off. She slips on the gown and places the cap on her head. She zips the gown up and smiles at herself. She didn't need her mother or brothers. She is perfect the way she is.
Alex stares at the sky as he wonders what life is. Tuck keeps the camera on him and smiles.
"Come on man. We're graduating and going different ways," Alex pushed the camera away from his face.
"What would you think life is without your friends?" Tuck asks.
"I probably be doing drugs or this whole neighborhood be a highway and I would be going straight to Australia or wherever life takes me," he replies.
Alex fixes his tie and looks at the picture of his mom and dad. His biological parents. He knew they would be proud on where he is and how he is going to New Zealand for school. How he found love and fought for it. He enjoyed his life. He slip the gown on and zipped it up. He looks at the hat and knows it will ruin his hair, but you only graduate from high school once. He places it on gently and smiles at the sight he looks.
Munch fixes his hair and smiles. He knows what he is doing is right.
"If I haven't met my friends, I would've done something crazy and be bullied by those kids on how I look. I remember how Tuck described me in the video before we met echo. He told people I'm a good person, a good friend. I will always remember where home is," he talks to the camera before turning it off.
He straightens himself up and looks at the way he looks. He sort of felt stupid on how he thought Lily could've been the one for him, but he pushes that thought away. Everyone loved him, just for him. He puts his gown and cap on and smiles. He's graduating. He made it.
Tuck fixes his hair and smiles. He's going to NJIT for college, he's living his life. To him, he doesn't need an interview or anything. He's happy the way he is. His life is still the same as the last time he video tape himself last time.
"I only have one word to say to end this video," he starts. "It doesn't matter if it was a dream or not, we made it this far, and I'll remember that our adventure is HOME," he finishes his words. He turns the camera off and stood up. He slips his cap and gown on as he heads downstairs for the final moment in his life.
All the kids stare at the center stage outside. They call name by name for their diplomas. The five kids look at each other as they know they got their diplomas and wait for the principle just to say goodbye.
The five kids sit in the desert as they look at each other. They all laugh at all the old memories they once had. How no one could stop them ever again.
"I'm going to miss this," Munch says.
"When do you all leave?" Alex asks.
"Tomorrow," Emma and Jack reply.
"Three days," Munch and Tuck said.
They all look at Alex. He sighs and just raises nothing. As if he wasn't going to go to college.
"I'm going to Community. I won't make it far," he doubts himself.
"Well, we can all agree that this is home. No one will ever take this away from us," Emma says as she raises her can of coke.
They all do the same and laugh. I guess it really didn't matter how long a friendship lasts, what lasts is all the memories you hold.
