JACK'S POV

I open the book and skim through it.

BOOK:

Blue Moon City was a town full of crazy people. The town was filled with crop circles on the farm lands, along with strange seeings.

Five kids were missing and never found till the town was burned down.

No one knows how the town burned to shreds, but the only thing people knew was who did it.

The townspeople who survived pointed their fingers to the five kids who just came back after the incident.

It was a terror incident which the Blue Moon City experienced.

Sources say, the kids didn't do it, but one of them know who did.

The five kids wrote a journal about what they experienced. No one has found them for they have been burned away.

I hear a slam and look up.

"Excuse me, but the library is closed. If you like, you can check the book out,"the librarian says.

"Oh! No, I was just reading. I'll go now," I tell her and started heading towards the door away from the creepy dude who works here. He may look my age, but there is no way I would date him. He seems, strange and creepy.

I walk out the big red doors letting the air touch me. I walk down the stone sidewalks and towards my motorcycle.

I put my helmet on and headed home.

"I might as well burn in flames! Like the rest of me! But maybe! We can find away. We could survive this tragedy! Rather than be another one of them!" I sing along to the song. I forgot who sings it, but oh well.

I lay on my bed and picked my laptop up. I open it and searched Blue Moon City.

Blue Moon City, Nevada, was burned down in 1998. The strange town had mysterious secrets, but the problem to life is nothing.

The City was burned down by five kids.

Dana Jade.

Lily Heights.

Luke Rider.

Hiker Good.

Darrel Looks.

Who knew Five 15 years old could be so destructive. I didn't know for sure.

After two years later, the people who survived fled to a closer town.

Mulberry Woods.

A thousand miles away from the burned city.

No kid ever learned about this, since it was never important.

I stop reading and hear my phone buzzing.

Emma🌸:

We are going to the desert. Are you coming?

I bit my lip and debated.

I need to find more about this town and see if I find it, maybe I won't have to move.

Claim the money to save my home or go out with my friends???

I sigh and unlock my phone.

To Emma🌸

Can't go..... I'm grounded

I know I lie but I can't move away. I roll off my bed and grab paper and a notebook.

I start writing and jotting different coordinates, notes and drawings.
