Chapter 15: Come Together, Work Together

Alex's Pov

I turn on to my side and looked at the clock. It only ten am. I get dress into jeans and my red flannel Jack always wears. I walks down the stairs and grab a Monster.

I sit at the counter and look at the stove. Jack would be cooking me breakfast wearing my clothes. She would wake me up and give me our morning kiss. But now, she's gone 'cause of me. I run my hands through my hair and took a long sip from my drink.

I hear my phone ringing and see a text from Tuck. I open my phone and see the background of when Jack and I first met. Three years ago, day one of Freshman Year.

Tuck:

Stop moping and get down to Munch's place now.

I sigh and reply with an "okay". I look at my calendar and see the event and a red box. I crossing out and sigh.

"Happy Four Year Anniversary Jackson," I tell myself.

I grab my keys and phone as I head to the door. I start my car and drive down the streets to Munch's house.

I ring the bell and Munch's Dad answers the door and rolls his eyes at me. He always hated me. Told me I was a bad influence and have no future.

I walk up the stairs and found the Gang around the computer. I grab a chair and place it at the end of the table.

"What's up?" I ask them.

I look into the computer and see that it's the crop circle.

"It means, carpe diem. Seize the day. He's waiting for us," Emma says slowly.

I sigh loudly as I look at each diary. I open it onto the same page and found the images match each other. We already know that, but maybe it has another meaning!

I put it together and look straight down the middle.

To forget the past you must move forward. Take the chance, and plan ahead. Carpe diem to the.....

That's it. Who do we carpe diem to?!

"What do these diaries also do?" I ask emma quickly.

"They tell the future. Why?" Tuck responds for her.

"Because the last line states Carpe Diem To The. If we get one of the journals at least, we can find out, what the message means. I have a plan," I tell them.

"Is it good?" Munch asks.

"Excellent!" I exclaim. I smile at all of them. "We get Jack or Echo to grab the journals and find the page. Echo sends us a text and boom! We find out what's going on and maybe, s way to free Jack and Echo," I explain.

"You're plan is impossible. The journals are locked up far away. They aren't in the city, but outside. Who makes it so easy to find the journals when they might be right under your noises," Luke jumps in. He eyes his direction to the computer screen of the crop circle and we all small.

"We will help you. We miss the old adventures," Rana comments.

I guess if we come together, we can work this all out.
