Chapter 10: More Information

DANA'S POV:

I hear the phone ring and run over to it. I look at the caller ID and knew who it was.

"Luke what do you-" I speak.

"They're coming. Lily told me that they visit her. They want to find the story!" Luke yells through the phone.

"You fuxking wasting a call on me finally? Where the hell were you when I was worried about you?!" I tell him.

"Babe, calm down. The kids are coming. Give them the journals. I have to go. They're telling me I have to go," Luke tells me. I feel my heart stop.

"Okay, bye," I say in the phone softly.

"Bye. I love you," he says and hangs up.

I hear a car door shut. I get a shiver feeling knowing its them.

Alex and Jackson.

I let the two in and they sit in my living room. My grandfather passed away 2 years ago, but he gave me the house.

Alex is hiding something from Jack. The two are dating. Alex has a plane ticket to out of states. He's hiding it from Jack to keep his promise. He broke three already though.

I set down some coffee and cookies. I look at the two kids who seem so grown up.

"So you two are here for the journals. You're other friends are doing research on the others. You kids are very smart. Been through some tough shit. So, here are Luke and mine journals," I hand the two journals to Jack.

"How come Luke is in jail and not you?" Alex asks.

"Luke's powers are fire. Mine is earth. People automatically thought it was him. Till they realized one of us was missing. You guys have the elements also. Your parents had them. The journals explain everything. Good luck kids," I tell them.

They both nod and headed out. I watch the two drive away from my house and I smile. I wish Luke and I lasted that long.

I want revenge on him. He took away my powers. All our powers. I will do anything for revenge.

I feel my nose scrunch as I realize the food I was cooking was burning. I run quickly to the stove and turn it off.

EMMA'S POV:

I sit in the library with Tuck and Munch as I research the other kids.

I look at this person I once knew. Impossible. He looks like me also.

Hair, eyes, nose, face.

I swallow hard and the boys look at me. This is so scary.
