Chapter 14: The Start of an Invasion

REBEL'S POV:

I pack my box as I tape it carefully seal. I hold my picture frame and a vision came into my mind. Every fight Alex and I been through, it's always caused but made up. I don't want it this time. Plus, long distance never works out.

I walk to my closet and take out my luggage. I grab my winter and summer clothes as I start to pack my stuff up. I close the zipper then open it. I hear a buzzing noise and my phone blinking. Soon the lights are blinking and the ground is shaking. I duck underneath my table and hold it tight to stable it. I hear everything falling and breaking. I sit up immediately and run to my window.

I see a bright red flash. A spaceship. This is a plan to destroy the world. No, no, no, and no. I run to my phone and dialed Alex's number. I wait for it to ring but nothing happens. Towers down. I hear the door opening and slamming. I feel like screaming for help, but nothing came out. No one would hear me in this racket.

Soon, everything stopped and I crawled out of my desk. I see my whole room a mess. I run outside and no one is out here. Nothing is destroyed and it looks like as if it never happened.

I run over to Alex's house and no one answers. What the hell is going on?!

I run to my skateboard and to the back of Alex's house. I jump the fence and walk down the hill. I place my skateboard on the ground and headed to the desert.

I look around and see nothing. No one is here, it's abandoned. I see a bright red light and everything went black.

Emma's Pov

I walk to Jack's house and looked around. Nobody home as I think. The door is knocked down. I feel like something is wrong. I run around her house finding it completely empty. I feel my heart racing as I run into her room. The whole thing was as if just one room caused an earthquake.

I look for her phone, but found nothing. I take my phone out and dial her number. I shouldn't jump to conclusions without answers.

"This number has been disconnected and out of reach," the voice of the lady through the phone.

I start panicking and ran out of the house. I run to Alex's house and found him laying on his couch playing video games with Tuck and Munch. I stand in front of the tv and they try to see right through me.

"Emma! Get out of the way!" Alex yells at me.

"Have you three been on this couch since this morning?" I question them. They all just nod and drank their sodas.

"Come on Em. We trying to play a game here," Munch reminds me.

I turn the tv off and they all look at me, groaning. Tuck gets up and tries to get the remote, but I push him back on to the couch.

"Jack's missing and you three don't even care!" I yell at them.

"She's says she wants nothing to do with us," Alex tells me.

"Her house looks like it's destroyed as if an Earthquake happened! Just cause she refuses to help us on this mission, doesn't mean she isn't our friend!" I yell at them.

I run out of the house and see a crop circle. No way. I run back in and they all look at me.

"There's a crop circle outside Jack's house. They took her," I tell them with tears down my face.

Suddenly, the tv turns on. It's a man I never seen before and he looks like Darrel.

"The Kids from Earth. You know who I am. Hopefully. I have some people you probably missed out on," Hiker shows us Jack and Echo.

"Let me go before punch you where it hurts!" Jack yells.

"Shhh, darling. You're feisty. Great for a wife," Hiker says as he strokes Jack's face.

"I want this world and if you give me the other diaries, you can have your friends back," Hiker suggests to us.

"Don't do it!" Jack yells at us. Hiker slaps her across the face and Alex's face goes red.

"Quiet you child!" He yells at her.

I look at the Gang and see Gary, Gigi, and Jack's mom. This was all a trick. It was a set up so they can start an invasion!
