|| FOUR ||

"Amethyst remain calm it's not what you think," says Adonis. I'm breathing hard and looking at him with a shocked expression on my face slowly backing away from him. Adonis comes closer to me and I jump back and trip on a broken branch.

 "Stay back don't come any closer," I say. "You truly cannot believe that I'm gonna hurt you, can you?" he asks. "I'm not sure I mean you attacked him for no reason," "I attacked him for you he was sent to kill you,"

"Kill me why would anyone want to kill me?" I ask. "The book Amethyst you haven't figured it out yet,"  I look down at the book then look at the gemstone around my neck and remembered it glowing when I passed it and then it dawned on me. 

"I'm the Amethyst gemstone aren't I?" I ask. "Yes now would you like to listen to me," he says and I nod following him along the trail. 

We walk and talk not knowing where he's leading me but I trust him enough to follow him. I notice I'm looking down trying to make sure I don't trip on anything he's just walking straight with his forward. Adonis is walking like there's nothing around us.

"I know how you got the stone but how did you find the book?" he asks. "Pandora got it out of her mom's hidden library in her closet," I say then catching onto him saying he knew how I got the stone. 

"Wait how did you know about the stone-- you put the stone in the antique shop didn't you?" I ask. "Yes I did, I overheard you and Pandora talking about the shop a week ago at your locker and that's when I put it there,"

"So did you know all along that I was a gemstone?" I ask. "No not until you said your name and that's when I got curious then listening about your home life that's when I figured it out. Plus who in their right mind would name their daughter Amethyst," he says laughing and I roll my eyes at him. 

 "So do all supernatural creatures know about me?" I ask. "They don't about you to be exact they know about the missing gem, the story is a legend,"

 As we're walking we begin to cross a bridge over a stream I slip and Adonis catches me quickly. "Yeah you're gonna need tons of training," he says. I roll my eyes at him and suddenly my gemstone begins to glow again.

"Oh so now you want to do that," I say. "It does that when you contact another supernatural being," he says chuckling. "Wait so why did it glow when I was in the shop?" 

"My sisters told me you ran into them before but they didn't say you all made physical contact," "I touched Pandora in the shop, after that I found the gemstone," 

 "You did say that Pandora got the book out of her mom's hidden library right?" he asks. "Yes," I answer. "Pandora's mom is a witch which has to make Pandora one as well," "That has to be it her mom had a black pot and bottles of liquid on the walls," I say.

"Do you think Pandora knows?" Adonis asks. "No there's no way she would've told me," "Why would her mom keep that from her being a witch is a great thing especially since she's a bloodline witch," "You're right and we need to go find out," 

Adonis and I drive to Pandora's mom's job to get answers from her and convince her to tell Pandora the truth. 

"Hi welcome to - oh Amethyst what're you doing here?" she asks. "I came here because I need to talk to you without Pandora," I say. Ana looks at me then lays her eyes on Adonis. "This is Adonis," I say. "I know you're Silas Esylium's son, normally I prevent vampires in my shop but I'll give you a pass," she says as she walks to her backroom. 

"You know my father?" Adonis asks. "Yes I'm the reason why you can walk into the sun I put a spell on him and your family," she says. "Ana, Pandora took the Gem book out of your hidden library, and it turns out I'm the Amethyst gemstone did you know this?" I ask. Ana looks down at her lap then looks back up at me and sighs. "Yes I knew," she says. "Why didn't you tell me or even train me if you knew what I was destined to be?" I ask.
