It's such a delightful day, walking to school under the spring trees. Nothing can ruin her mood today, not a soul- "Hey Kid! Move out the way!" Screamed a motorist at the top of his voice. Well, there goes her complexion. "WHY DON'T YOU RIDE ON THE ROAD! THIS IS A BLOODY FOOTPATH!" reacted the girl in rage.
Greet Lilac or Lily for short, she is very optimistic about being a leader, be it any group. She considers herself as 'The girl on top of the world', quite the title isn't it? She is an introvert. Yeah, that's it, she is a wallflower. She doesn't quite have a lot of companions at school, and she is often termed 'The classic mean girl'.
But she isn't like what she's being called, um, let's term her as the cold stone. That's what she is, hard to break into but loveable once known. In this story, you will see the ups and downs of the girl.
"Oh, do you have an extra lip tint? I need one like RIGHT NOW!" expressed Cassandra with her frantic demand. "Sure-"
"Thanks, Emily!" Cassandra took the lip tint from her friend and took the run for it. Cassandra is Lilac's enemy, a huge enemy. She is somewhat similar to Lily in many ways but she is envious of her. Lily doesn't even care about her and Cassandra didn't quite like the lack of attention.
Let me share a secret, Cassandra likes this guy in school named Kat. He is the basketball captain and that's the reason why girls swarm around him. Even though Kat despises girls, Cassandra never loses a chance to make an impression on him. Enough of the backstory let's jump into the real story.
"Was a great competition, right?" Mark asked Kat about the basketball game that just took place. "Yeah, but I wish we could have won by many more baskets,'' Kat expressed in depression. " Cheer up Mate! Anyhow, we won," Mark reassured. Just as their team received the Champions Ribbon, the basketball group made its way out of the school stadium and to their respective classes.
Just on his way to class, Kat was talking to Mark about the Fairytale Festival the drama club was conducting. "Are you going to take part in it? I heard that Cassandra is the 2nd lead for the play." Mark asked his buddy. "Do you think, a woman anti like me, WOULD WANT TO DO A FAIRYTALE PLAY!!" while screaming the last line of his response, leaving Mark and all the other students in utter shock. "Bro, cool down. Let's go into the class and then talk," Mark said trying to calm the beast.
Lily was actually in Kat's class, this is what made Cassandra even more envious. "Ok, so are you sure you don't want to do the drama?" Mark asked Kat again to receive a confirmed answer. "Do I need to?" Kat asked under his breath. Mark pouted and held Kat's hand like there was no tomorrow, "Of course! Since I am second male lead, you should support me by being the 1st lead," said Mark begging from every single angle from the desk to standing on his chair, embarrassing Kat to the brim not to mention it, Lily was seeing this too. "Oh alright, now can you get down, this is so disastrous," Kat replied to Mark's disgraceful manner.
Fast Forward to the next week, the auditions were being held for the main female lead in the drama they were doing. The judges were Cassandra, Mark and Kat themselves, they had a long line of students. Some came to work with Kat and others who wanted to show off in a very odd way. "And do you know what, my sister and brother and my grandfather and my great grandmother and my uncle Jeffers had all acted in the theatres and thus I expect my very own unique self to get the role of the female lead in an instant," said a volunteer for the role. Without thinking twice Mark got up in frustration and said, "OUT! GET OUT! WE DON'T NEED A FEMALE LEAD! OUT I SAID! OUT!"
"Oh dear, Mark you're going to lose your voice like that," said a very jolly voice from behind the door, "I suppose you might have the energy to take the last audition?" she continued.
The kids had no option but to nod their heads in front of the woman who was the headmaster of the school. The thing that shocked them the most was the person who came in for the audition.
