Knock Knock!
"Oh, jolly golly! Who is it-" the man replied as he went closer and closer to the door to answer it. "Hello, Mr Smith! I'm a high school student, Lily. Uh, we wanted to talk to you about the Vanberg incident." Lily said with a bright and friendly smile.
"There's nothing to talk about, and now I may leave-" Mr Smith replied in haste. "Haha! Not so fast, we just need five minutes, that's it." Mark requested with one hand blocking the door.
"I don't have a choice, do I? Come in, and mind the-" as Mr Smith was cautioning the kids about something, Cassandra slumped and fell flat. "Ouch! What the hell!"
"I was about to say mind the slippery floor but you learnt the hard way." The man snickered while the others picked Cass up. "Thank you for the remarkable welcome," Cass replied with a rigorous attitude. "Back to why you lads are here, what do YOU want to do with that incident?" Mr Smith asked the squad while preparing a cup of tea, likely for himself. "We are part of the editorial club of our school gazette. Just as we were running out of ideas on what to compose, we thought of the Vanberg incident and then came to you," Lily gave a fake justification which appeared factual, even Mark and Cass were stunned.
"What do you want from me? Another interview? That's a piece of cake! I have been doing it for the past 10 years," the certainty in the man's reply asserted the same. "No sir, could you show us some type of evidence, like that register? We could just take photos of that!" Cass' idea was to the liking of everyone and so Mr Smith went to his room to grab the 10-year-old register. He had it as many journalists or news editors used to come to his house just for it. Due to the frustration caused by the overflowing of calls, he gave his number to some other person.

High Event: School Inauguration
Date: 24th March 2007]
"Hello Miss Gonzal, fine day isn't it?" Miss Gonzal, a great art's professor of the time.
"Peter Mathews, am I right? The student who failed but made an 'Outstanding Effort'. Could never forget that line!" Peter Mathews had accompanied Gonzal throughout High School and used to come last in their class. Of course, that did not last for long, Peter was the best director in the state!
"Ahem! A heartwarming welcome to all the professors and students of the Class of 2007 to 08. On this auspicious day, I, Huston Vanberg introduces you to Vanberg High! The institution that provides the best for the best of students! A round of applause as the gates to your dream palace open!" Huston Vanberg, the headmaster of the institution, was a great scholar himself.
That day the only thing everyone heard was whistles, applause, laughter... No wonder why they couldn't hear the thunder, the cries. They were all deaf and blinded by the happiness that they couldn't see the sorrow.

"Here is the register!" Mr Smith handed the old register over to the students and went to his kitchen. "Mark, open up the list of names of students who went missing. If we are lucky enough, we may be able to find at least one student who isn't on that list," ordered Lily as she flipped through the pages of the register. "Is Zane Tevery there?" Lily asked Mark to check the name. "Yup, he's there." He replied. "How about Lucy Jhonson?" Cass asked him as she was sitting beside Lily. "L-u-c-y J-h-o-n-s-o-n, no, her name is not on the list. Wait, HER NAME IS NOT ON THE LIST!" Mark leapt in excitement as realisation hit him.
"Does the book contain addresses of the students? Phone number?" asked Cass. "No, wait let me go to the first page. Session 2007 to 08...blah blah blah... Ok, there is one address but I don't think she'll be there." Lily let the others know. "If we could find Mr Smith, there is a chance we can find Ms Lucy too!" Mark exclaimed with positivity. "This time when we search for her, let's bring Kat along. But now that I think of it... Why did Kat tell us this story?" Cassandra's query was reasonable.
Why did Kat tell this story now? Is it related to the drama world?
