Kat had come out of the auditorium for some fresh air. The striking shift (the part where Lily said Flag on The Play) while still being in the drama world made him feel groggy. "All of them are probably wondering why I told them that story. Should I tell them now or later? Wait, where are they taking off? Oh, it's lunchtime. I'll go later I guess." Kat pondered to himself and soon fell asleep under a tree.
Lily and the others left Mister Smith's shack after noting Miss Lucy's location. It was nearly time for their last class, and so they scurried across the street to reach school on time and avoid detention of course. "D-did we make it?" Lily asked the others as soon as they entered the building. "1 minute left! Good job guys!" Mark said enthusiastically, raising his hand for a high five from the girls.
Cassandra disregarded the presence of her friend and rushed to her desk for water, Lily, on the other hand, scowled at Mark and went to her seat. 'Such ill-mannered girls!' Mark mentally thought.
As the teacher entered, Lily noticed the absence of Kat. Unpleasant thoughts started prowling in her mind and so she requested to go to the washroom as an excuse to search for Kat. "You didn't think about going to the washroom before my class Miss Sanderson?!" Miss May yelled, slamming the book. 'IF YOU KNOW WHAT WE JUST DID THIS MORNING I BET YOU WOULDN'T SAY THAT WOULD YOU?' Lily angrily muttered then answered, "Sorry Miss May, it won't happen again!" As soon as she got the green signal from her teacher, she hurried out of the room in search of Kat. "Where is that gu- Thank goodness I found you! Kat? Are you ok? YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME- HE'S SLEEPING?" In front of alarmed Lily lied a peacefully sleeping Kat (no pun intended (•‿•)) 'I think I should just wake him up now,' "Kat! Wake up!" Lily shoved Kat with all her strength. "AHH! Is there an earthquake!? LILY YOU OK?" poor Kat didn't know what was happening and Lily just- "HAHAHAHA!"
"I fell asleep, didn't I?" Kat asked Lily, awkwardly. "Yes and now come with me to class- and let me fix that hair of yours!" Lily quickly told Kat to get up and she fixed his hair. Kat blushed by the sudden movement and then both of them ran to the class. "Wait a minute! Lily! Where did Kane come from?" Miss May inquired Lily as she saw another boy come in. "Miss, it's Kat," he replied as Miss May had mispronounced his name. "DO NOT INTERRUPT! Please keep in mind Mister Ken, I could send you into detention with just one order." Miss May replied. 'You old hag, ITS KAT. K-A-T, KAT!' Kat mentally cursed. "Miss May, Kat was in the nurse's office and he was returning so I accompanied him to class." Lily gave a fake excuse again and handled the situation.
During Dispersal...
"Kat we need to tell you something. It's exceptionally important!" said Mark as Kat was going home. "We? I mean you're the only one walking with me right now." as Kat replied, Mark looked around for the girls and saw them running towards him in a distance. "Sorry, we're late! We had to give Miss Holly a new date for the rehearsals, and she said we'll be re-starting the day after tomorrow," Cassandra explained. "The more time the better chance we have to solve the drama world mystery. About mysteries, Mark did you tell him about this morning?" Lily asked. She received a no as a reply and to recite the whole story, they went to their nearest park.Cassandra, annoyed by Kat's childish behaviour: By the way, Kat, did you give your sister her diary back? She called me yesterday!
Kat whilst giving a salute: Yes, captain! I'll give it back today~
---"So that's what happened, we have Lucy's address but we don't think she still lives there," Cassandra added after the narration was over. "Another question we need to ask you before we go home, why did you tell us this story? Any reason?" Mark asked folding his arms. Though Kat hesitated a bit he went ahead with his story, "The play was going smoothly in the drama world when suddenly everything started glitching and the area started showing me different scenes. I saw a king and queen, a prince who was going out of the palace in anger, a village and my brother..."
Dead silence spread everywhere, how was it possible?
