I love when the family comes together and spends time with each other.

Once everyone left, I was tired, so I decided to go rest. Ash already decided to leave so I was alone. I looked at the time, January 11, 2021, one thirty seven. I decided to call Niko to see if she was alright, she didn't come to the breakfast, she was busy with school. I called; I knew she was on lunch break by now.

The phone rang for a little and picked up, Niko said "What's up Adda?". I sighed and said, "Nothing just checking up on you. How was class?". Niko sighed and said, "Boring, you know being in a criminology major is difficult. Nothing I can't handle though".

I smiled at her determination, I said, "You never said why you wanted to be in a criminology major". Niko thought for a moment and replied, "I don't know, I just want to be a detective. I think it's powerful and respectful. I love seeing woman doing cop work and I want to be a part of it". I smiled and said, "Niko, you'd be an amazing detective".

She breathed out a laugh and I heard a bell ring. Niko said with a rush, "I gotta go to my next class, this teacher is really strict". I heard her running and said, "Alright love you, bye". Niko said, "Love you too". I hung up the phone and continued doing nothing.

I got a call from the hospital, and I answered, "Hello?". The doctor said, "This is the nurse who took care of Jay Alaric. Since you were the last one to see her, well not only that but, you were there when she had that miraculous recovery, I wanted to ask you some questions". I blinked slowly and said, "Well there isn't much too it, I was crying, and she shot back up breathing". The doctor replied, "Well it's just so crazy. Can you blame me for wanting to know more? She's fully recovered with zero problems".

I sighed and lied back down in my bed, I said, "We should just stop pushing it and leave it a mystery we wouldn't want to jinx it". The doctor paused and said, "Right". There was a lot of suspicion in his voice, so I called him out on it. "What, do you think I did something?". The doctor sounded a little panicked and said, "Well I'm not saying you did; I'm just asking a witness what happened. It's just very interesting, you could've restarted her heart by accidentally electrocuting her with friction".

I narrowed my eyes and furrowed my brows making the 'what' face. I said, "Well in that case, shouldn't you be happy she's alive and not bombarding me with questions? She's alive now, right? You did your job; your job is to keep the person alive that's what you did. I have nothing to do with that". The doctor panicked more and said, "I'm sorry for disturbing you, I didn't mean to make you angry". I retracted and calmed down, there was a long pause until I said, "I didn't mean to blow up on you sir, I'm sorry that wasn't respectful of me, you did save Jay's life. Have a good day".

I hung up and groaned slamming myself on the bed. I got up and opened the door upset, Everyone I know is doing something with their lives right now, I'm just stuck on pause. I've kept myself busy because I didn't want to sit down and be depressed about it. There's always next year for college. I sighed and took a juice out of the fridge. Someone texted me so I pulled my phone out my pocket.

I got a suspicious call from his number it sounded like muffled screams

The phone went silent for ten minutes until I got panicked call back. I answered the phone, "Adda he isn't picking up, it's going straight to voice mail. I think that was a ransom call. I don't know what to do!". My eyes widened and I teleported to Nova's house.

I said, "I need your phone for something, I promise I'll give it back". She handed me her phone and I teleported to the Warehouse. I yelled, "Blue track this number for me now!". Blue heard the urgency in my voice and ran downstairs I tossed her the phone. Blue said calmly, "Which one".

I pointed to Ash's number, and she started typing away. I paced in the living room, what if he's kidnapped, what if he's dead, what if Avery took him. I was scared and hyperventilating, I started to hear the inside of my blood pumping and the room got blurry. I couldn't see, Blue was into the screen and turned around to see me sitting on the floor clutching my chest. Blue ran over to me and said, "What's going on?".

I couldn't talk, I couldn't breathe I was just in this constant phase of panic. Blue held me down and started rocking me, she spoke calmly and said, "You're having a panic attack, it's going to be alright. We'll find him". My breathing slowed down enough for me to ask, "What if he's dead?".

I want to make an impulsive decision and make Ash and Adalyn's break up longer but I think it shows how drawn to each other they are it shows how they really feel like one when there together and how they can work through anything when they have conversations anyway that's my ted talk peeps see ya soon
